Got call from this number.  Lots of line noise which made me think it was cell phone.  Number sounds like Magic Jack type number.  Guy starts with usual pitch that he is 'contractor' in my area doing estimates.  Usual dumb scam.  Hung up.

I got a call from this number at 10:30AM caller ID  read "NAME NOT FOUND"...There is no such # as 310-111-1234...so I picked up the phone & hung it up right away. I don't bother to answer those calls anymore. It is usually a contractor that don't want to be identified. So far they haven't called back.

just got that call...normally don't pick up but caller id said "california" and the number and generally those calls are cells and okay.  i picked up thinking it might be a prospective client and heard dead air and then an electronic screech.  scared now it might be some weird scam?  don't people have enough to do in their lives??  i will go back to screening.

I received a call from the above number, but without area code -- just 111-1234.  No name was indicated -- only the phone number.
