Calls, no one there, leaves no message.  Came in rapid succession with several other TeleScamming calls.

Guess I'm lucky so far - only 1 call from this number and it's about to be blocked although they'll just make up a new one.

My turn to get such a call from the thieves - not only do they interrupt people's routines but are out to steal, by shabby workmanship and materials, by taking the money and vanishing, and by distraction burglaries, once they are inside your house - every unwanted call a crime cal at many levelsm starting with caller number spoofing.

My unlisted number is on the FTC Do Not Call List, but I've gotten 3-4 such calls almost daily, for 3-4 years, many Romanian accents on the other end when I've answered.

I had to shell out for a call blocker and new phone, but the resulting peace & quiet was well worth it, in the absence of effective law enforcement in the present "deregulation" political environment...

Great idea...i have ignored these calls in hopes they go away...Do you think it would help if you change your phone number?

Well this is the 5th time this week.  Kiss my a.. It is a scam. Do not answer.

I get the same thing. Nobody talks when I answer. When I call back I get a recording the # is Out Of Service

caller did not leave message. Hung up when voice mail picked up.
On callback, the intercept recording said that this was a Verizon Wireless phone number that has either been changed, disconnected, or that no further information is available about it.
Am reporting to FCC, and DoNotCall.

Numerous call from 310-429-5382.  All calls made without leaving msg,call back and verison phone has been disconnected msg.

Called this number back only to get this wireless number was not in service. Then how is it making calls.
Bothers me, my elder Mom lives with me and she thinks her family in California is calling and thinking something wrong with the family. I hate these callers. Next step is to start entering harrasments against them!

Got call today from310-429-5382 here in Ottawa Canada ,no message left. this is a regular occurance and is starting to become annoying as they never leave a message. When yo do pick up there is no one there

Calls about 7pm every night.  Sometimes 3x a night.  Call back and like others its out of service or not available

I received a call from 310-429-5382. Didn't leave a message. Caller ID said caller is from California.

I get calls both day and night from this number.  I have 2 phone lines and frequently get calls on both lines within seconds of each other.

Just got one of these calls at my NJ land-line 9:30 AM (6:30 AM at the California caller's time zone). Annoyed to see it's gone on since 2008, even with people reporting it to FTC. I'll try the #2 idea if it happens again.

Some stupid weight loss robo call. I called the number back and got a message stating that this number has been changed, disconnected or no longer in service then announcement 2 switch 2 dash 3 2

Same scam different day!!!  Never ever answer these calls!  Just ignore them!

Answered and got recorded message: Do you know anyone who would like to lose weight quickly and safely, at which point I hung up

Called at 10 pm, 2/6/12.  Answered on first ring, nothing.  No automated system, just dead air.

Caller ID just says "California Call."  I didn't answer and have blocked the number.

I received a call from this number today, but they left no message. Moments later, I returned their phone call and a Verizon recording indicated the phone number had been disconnected.

January 24, 2012.  Area Code Hollywood, CA. I did not answer the phone.  Recorded message said:

this a***ipes of this number 310 429 5382 calling me when I am slipping late into noon..thought I won a lottery ! fuk they didnt answer..must be a suprise big win comming :)

Everyone says that the Verizon denies the number is not in there system (i.e. has not been assigned to any customer).....ergo....it is SPOOFED (meaning the caller could be located anywhere in the world and is making his call seem like it is coming from this number in CA).

The real mystery in all of this is why?? None of the callers mentions having a real conversation with anyone on the line. Wouldn't a scammer want to talk with us and try to unload whatever piece of criminal s*** they are trying to sell? So...the intent seems to be to harass. Do they want to harass us because we are the people who have blocked calls on other scams and they are trying to get back at us?
P.S. they called me last evening and I have now blocked the number.

I got a call from these jerks and recording ask if I could lose wieght by drinking coffee would this be something I;d be interested in (please press 1 ) next they ask if I could improve my sex life by drinking coffee is this something I'd be interested in ( please press 1 )  then (please stay on the line while I transfer your call)  In less than 30 seconds I got a busy signal so I hung up. Called them back and Verizon number has changed ...been disconnected ..or is no longer in service...figure that out..

This is a sales recorded message for a diet product, there doesn't seem to be anyway of reported them.  I live in Canada so I called Bell Canada to report them, Bell attempted to call them to talk to them to have the number removed but the message says "number not in service" so the number is for outgoing harassing telemarketing messages only.  Since I live in Canada and this is a US number there doesn't appear to be a way of reporting them.  I made a mistake of answering the call thinking it was a family member now these a**les will be contacting me even more.  If anyone can think of a way of getting them to stop and reporting them I would appreciate hearing from you.  It would appear that the telemarketing people have found a way of getting around Canada's do-not-call list I actually get more calls now than I did before.

Recorded female voice asked if anyone wanted to lose weight.  Pressed 1 to speak to operator but line was dropped.
