Got the call at 6;25 eastern. Shows up as "INTL CALL"  Recording says "Don't hang up. You've been selected to win an all-paid Caribbean vacation."  I hung up.

Im in TX, just got a call from that number. I think they are using the "Do Not Call List" as a list of active numbers to call. I had hung up before too much of the pitch, but it still cost me a minute on my pre-paid cell phone. grrr....

On a related note, I believe the "Warranty about to Expire on your Car" calls are war-dialed (which is illegal), because nearly every phone in our office will ring in succession when one of these comes in. That is even more annoying.

Im from NC and just got a call from this number.  I'm on the "Do Not Call List" as well.  Oh well!

Call came up saying they tried attempting me many times about my credit card and then it went dead. I tried calling back and nothing happened.

Don't know if it means anything or not but I had just gotten off the phone when it rang and had INTL CALL and 310-485-8984 in the caller ID. No one spoke and they just hung up.  The call right before it was with a very UNHELPFUL AT&T person who was sarcastic and actually hung up on me.  I guess she thinks she's protected because who would be able to find who she wasf in a company where you wait on the line for 45 minutes only to be told she has no way to help you and no idea who in AT&T to transfer your call to.  I figure she's moonlighting on AT&T and working the credit card scam from this 310 aread code number on the side.  Did anyone else talk to anyone at AT&T right before you started getting calls from this number?

cCall acame in and there was no answer.  Called back and no answer then cut off.

I just got a call from this # a few minutes ago.  Did not answer.  Showed intl call on my screen but I immediately knew it was CA.  So glad I found this info from you folks.

Received a call from this number...showed an international call.  No one there.  We are in KY

This number came up as Intl Call on my ID.  I recognized the area code as a California #.  Message on the other end said this is the last time they are going to call about lowering my credit card rate press 1 if I want to hear more, 2 if I want no more calls.  I pressed nothing and hung up.  Tried to call the number back and it won't connect at all.  No ring, no tones, nothing.  I am also on the do not call list.  Guess it doesn't work anymore.

1/29/2009 prerecorded message to " Lower my credit card rates" on 310-485-8984 this is not first call i have gotten from this company. Usually different phone #'s but always the same prerecorded message. claim to be account services or credit services and they do business with all major banks 77 of them. asking if I have $5,000 in unpaid credit card debt. I have press 1 and talked to live operator repeatly and asked to be removed from calling list. I am already on gov Do not call list....  My Advice File a FCC complaint if you are on do not call list.

This is a credit service offering to lower your credit rate.  I asked them not to call us anymore and the person hung up on me.

Has called told me lower my credit card number.  Play along want more information day of birth, mother maiden name.  I told them to f off and die.

Just got a call from this number - "INTL CALL" on caller ID.  Picked up they phone, recorded message said it was an important call regarding a credit card and they've tried to reach me several times... then nothing.  I'll be blocking this number with Comcast.  (I'm in Southern NJ)

I'm from upstate NY and this number just called (6:54PM), came up as INTL CALL on the caller ID, no one answered when I picked up.  I called the number back and it does not ring

call showed as Intl Call, but when I called back it only rang busy

Caller ID says call was international, however, 310 is Beverly Hills CA area code.  We are on the National DO NOT CALL LIST - this was a recorded message telling us to stay on the line as the call was in regards to our auto warrany, and how it is about to expire.  LIKE HELL IT IS.  THIS IS A SCAM.  I wonder how may senior citizens answer this call, and give their credit card numbers out to extend their auto warranty.

310-485-8984 Call came in as international.. About 1 minute later a call from 866-727-2119 came in from a "Bill Davis" When I called it back rang & rang then clicked over to another extension & continued ringing

received call from this number. Hung up on my answering machine, 1 minute later this number called back again. No message left.

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID showed INTL.  No one on the other end.  I believe this is the same number from which a call came in December and I believe I traced it to a Canadian number then.  At that time the person on the other end hung up after I asked one too many question.

She said were picking up one of our cars for repo.....We said what car?  She hung up.  It was a black womens voice and Caller Id said International call.  What a SCAM!!!!

just recieved a call but missed it. no voice mail but caller ID #310-485-8984. called number and nothing on the other end but every 20 second line would click and then nothing it kept doing that.
