Idiots called my cell today.

missed call/no msg. Strange that no one has posted since 09/12. If it's the same people, I assume they are calling only in So. Cal.

No one on the other end. It sounds like they are using computer calling, and call fowarding to different numbers. Catch these people before some of us victiims get our hands on them.

The old home remodeling routine.  I'm in the 310 area code and the CID said "OUT OF AREA."

Answered knowing full well that it was a scam call.  Played along for a few minutes to waste their time.

Have now blocked their future calls.

Buy a call blocking phone - stop the madness.  Panasonic and Uniden make excellent call blocking phones...they are about $50 and they both have at least one wireless handset.

Some guy calls saying he is with "Supreme" home construction and they are just down the street in the
neighborhood working on the "Adams" house. He wants to come meet us and see what projects we have
going on. Then, I say wait a minute, too much noise, and have him repeat everything. He changes the
name of the "Adams" house, makes something else up. I say we are on the DO NOT CALL list and he
says no you're not actually, we are with the City and so I let him talk and then ask for a callback number.
He hesitates then hangs up on me. Total Scammers! But what I can't figure out is what do they really want?
To get into your house to rob you? What's the point? Really annoying. The call came in from Culver City, CA.

I received a call from this number today.  On my caller ID it showed the call was from Culver City, Ca.
It was a man wanting to come to our home to offer home improvements.  I told him I was not interested but he continued to talk so I hung up on him.  I then dialed his number from my cell phone in hopes of getting the name of his "so called company".  The call did not go through, instead I got a recording saying, "the number you've reached has been disconnected?

Number keeps calling, no message....blocked number on Verizon...

Unsolicited telemarketing call.  Man wanting to know if the improvements I plan for my home (not whether I need any) will be for the interior or the exterior.  Kept asking the same question at least 3 times.  Claimed he had a home improvements service set up in Diamond Bar, and used a pushy, fast-talking script.  It didn't sound right, I don't live in or near Diamond Bar, and I wouldn't hire him even if I was planning some sort of home improvement.

Just had a call from this number.  No ID, no message.  Aggravating.

Evidently, our number has been sold to various companies...  all trying to do contractor work on our family home.  The giveaway on all of them... is that they ask for my father... for work on a home that was also sold over a year ago after my father died...  jerks.

Caller hangs up....my phone id just says Culver city CA on the ID

Called and said he was a vietnam vet and owned a construction company. Said he was in Altadena. When I pointed out that he was calling from a 310 area code number, he argued and said he was licensed IN Altadena. Well, if he has a license he's licensed in California. He then hung up. Scam.

called and hung up.

19 July 2012 -- 2:30 pm -- Caller ID said "unknown name".  No message was left.

I also got a call today from this # and it seemed fishy? He said he  owned a construction co. and asked for my Husband however he called MY cell ph and was asking if we need work in our home etc.? When I tried to call back the number said the number has been disconnected? If you are trying to promote your business wouldn't you want people to reach you??

I picked up on the third ring and did not say anything,but I could hear clicking in the background; after a few seconds, they hung up
