Did anyone else recently use Paypal.... I have NO IDEA how anyone got my information (phone number) and I recently made a large PayPal transaction.

I was doing a Chase Bank transaction when I got the text. I do have a Paypal account though. I'm curious to identify which company is giving away my info. OR rather charging for my info....
