Got 3 calls from the number.

This number was also on my ID & you are correct they never leave at message, they told me that I won a $100.00 gift card for shopping at Wal-Mart on July 30. He said all I need is to pay $3.95 in shipping in handling fees on any Visa or Master Card and it can have a $1 balance as of right now. I will not be charge the $3.95 until my card comes and I call a 1-800#...so, I told him that, I don't give out my credit card number because I am not sure who I am speaking to. They where so willing to have me give over my credit card number....the more question, I asked the more they went around in circles, they gave my a web-site of www.consumerdiscount.com (something like that), this web-site does mention them at ALL! Also, I asked them to call me back and I started researching the phone number on the web this is them calling right now, they didn't wait how funny...well. I told him to mail me my gift card and mail this card COD and then I will call the 1-800 to active my card, they still was speaking on the terms of they needed my Visa or MC number these people even told me where I lived and then I did a trick question and told them well you don't need my number you have it, if you got all of my information from when, I was shopping with my card at Wal-Mart he said, Oh no we need it from you....so, at this time the game was over....I said mail my Gift Card to me since you said your company is legal and I won it then I will pay COD and you will get your money, he refused and I told him to keep his $100.00 gift card and trust me, I could use it but, God Bless me with knowledge...so, anyone who gets call from this number, talk to them as long as you can to get as much information to put on the web to help someone else that is slow to SCAMMERS.

They have been calling me for almost a year now.  I have told them that I don't want anything from them and that if they call again, I will sue them for harrassment, but they keep calling.  So annoying!!!

Had an interesting call from this number. Like someone said before, it took about four seconds from the time I picked up for the person to actually hear me. He said my phone number had won a contest for a $200 grocery card. I jokingly asked how much it was to decline the card, thinking I might as well have fun with the dude(who spoke very poor english and was very unprofessional sounding.) He said it would be $29.99 to decline, and after arguing for a bit I said to just send me a bill. He then said he would come to my house with a gun. He recited my old address, and asked if I had ever been married, or if I had ever been with a girl(the language he used was far from appropriate.)

I am getting really frustrated by these people calling and sying "you will not be asked for any info and we are not truing to sell anything" which turns out to be na total lie. THey want your card #  for a one time  proccessing fee, and then will charge all kinds of things on the card later. BEWARE PEOPLE OF THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they have your credit card number, you might want to consider asking the credit card company to cancel it, and issue you a new card. Just something to consider.

Just got a call from this number. There was a delay in the caller speaking. I said, "Who is this?" They asked if I was [name]. I couldn't hear clearly. I think he said his name was Mark. I said, "If you don't identify yourself, I'll assume that you are nefarious and trying to steal my money." The caller hung up.

caller will not stop calling and always asks for my visa or master card number

I've received several calls from 310-599-9188 over the past 3 weeks.  I've never answered, and they never leave a message.  Now that I've read the posts regarding other people's experiences, I wish to report calls from this number as harassing, annoying, and possibly fraud related.

I was wondering who this caller was, as it comes up as unknown on my caller ID, and they never leave a message.  Thanks everyone for the heads up.  I've received a call from this number about once a week for the past 3 weeks, have never answered it, and now, will not even be tempted.  Thanks again.

you could alway play a prank on the ... just preted they got the wrong number and they leave you alone

This company has continually called me and insisted I complete a recorded confirmation system in order to be removed from their system and not be billed for something I do not want in the first place. They originally called me to offer me a gift certificate of $100 from Walmart just for agreeing to receive information in the mail about a program they offer. They said there is no obligation but asked for a VISA card number to put in the system. They claimed they would not charge anything other than a shipping fee of $3.95. Upon reviewing the materials that I would receive in the mail by Monday (call was on a Saturday), someone would call me to see if I was interested in signing up with the services they offer. If I was not interested, there would be nothing continued.



I have received about 6-7 calls from these people telling me that they cannot remove my information from their system without me completing the confirmation recording. I never completed it since I did not agree with the questions it asked me. I have explained to them numerous times that I just wish to be left alone. They continue to tell me that they cannot do that until I finish the confirmation recording.
