Called today at 9:42AM. CID says Inglewood and no message left.

'Carey Johnson' who stated he was a contractor called about 5PM tonight.  Said he was going to be in area doing estimates.  Usual scammer junk.  You could hear other call center lines working in backround.  I asked if he was a criminal scammer and he laughed nervously and said I must be 'very unhappy' and hung up.  Not sure if these toads are the Platinum/Coast/Tri  Cities construction scammers but bet they are.

I answered the call, person hang up on me without saying anything.  Why call if you are just going to hang up??  Called the number back and got a disconnected message.  What a pain.

If I wanted to annoy these callers, as much as they annoy me, I'd call their scheduling callback number from a phone that has blocked caller ID... much like the Fake caller IDs they use, and the Magic Jack numbers they regularly cycle through.

To block your caller id for one (1) call:
(This may not work, if you don't have outgoing call block feature - check with your phone provider)

Pick up the phone and listen for the dial tone
Dial *67
Listen for the dialtone beeps then the dial tone again
WITHOUT hanging up, dial 1-310-817-3688

When they answer ask for "THE HOME DEPOT"

They regularly use fake company names like "the home center" "LA home center" "home design center" anything to avoid getting caught.  Asking for the Home Depot will get them really confused.  You be more confused.

This company sells your contact info to a contractor who may or may not know that this company calls people from the DO NOT CALL list.

If you'd like to report them, you can use the fake # and also report the 817 number above, on the www.DoNotCall.gov complaint form (only if your number is on the Do Not Call list already)

I have received a call from this number for months now, but because the number is not familiar to me I do not answer it.  Well, this morning after being prompted by my mother I answered it.  The person on the line asked for me by my last name.  I asked her who was calling, and she asked me did I need any home improvements...  I stopped her right there and said oh construction telemarketer.  She then said could she say something before I hang up.  I said to her I will not hang up if you take my number off her call list, and  then she hung up on me.

I receive calls from these people regularly.  Today, when I answered the call, I asked them to take me off of their list.  He responded, "For a small fee."  I laughed, thinking he was, of course, joking and said, "No really, take me off your list."  He responded again, "For a fee."  I then asked him for his number and information so I could report him and he hung up.  Totally shocked by this blatantly illegal behavior.

"US Homecenter" peddling home remodeling work. Connected to Unique Home Design & Remodeling, Inc. Jeff Logan is US Homecenter's dispatch supervisor, 213-261-6309 showed on Caller ID. Logan's call back number is 310-817-3688, and if you Google that x-x-3688 number, you'll find a want/job  ad seeking telemarketers experiend in home improvement sales. Logan answers his phone "American Home Center." AHC's address is given by Logan as 155 W. Washington Blvd., # 1201, Los Angeles, CA 90018.

Great secret...download free app available for your smartphone called Air Horn, sounds just like those annoying  air horns you hear at sporting events.  When called by these people, use the air horn app and see how quickly they stop calling. Obviously, only works of they are calling on your home line and you have your mobile handy but brings a big smile to my face. I work from home and get a great deal of tele-marketing calls.  No matter how many times I have registered, filed a complaint or reported these calls to "Do Not Call" list, it seems never to work as well as this secret.

Someone repeatedly calls - maybe 4-5 times/wk and when I pick up, there is just silence.  Their number registers as 310 674-3373 coming from Inglewood.  It's been quite a nusance.

I receive at least two calls per day from this number,1st call in the A.M and the 2nd call  the P.M.This goes on for about a week then stops.then starts a new cycle.

they have called about 14 times and we have picked up 6 of those times and no one has answered back. we told them if they called again we would report them. and they called again so we told them it was illegal. tried to call them back but the line is disconnected.

These maggots have been calling my number daily. I finally answered yesterday. A male answers and addresses me by name. He identified himself from some health organization. As soon as he tried to give his speech, I hung up. I have now blocked this number on my phone. In fact, I block alot of calls because the DO NOT CALL program is a waste of time. Telephone phone manufactures need to produce a phone where there are 100 block call availability. I would purchase it tomorrow.

According to AnyWho.com, the number belongs to Veronica Gaines at 9717 Crenshaw Blvd #3 Inglewood CA 90305. These clowns call every few days and leave no message. I have the 3-tone "disconnected number" signal played by my answering machine, but they still keep calling.

This number calls at least twice a week, does not respond to repeatedly being told that calling numbers on the do not call list is illegal and in general is a big pest. It appears to a number that is sold to a bunch of different contractors, as it's never the same person/company, but always a contractor

It is a spoofed number, a***ole telemarketers...

The Home Design scammers had gone away for a few weeks but have started calling again.  Multiple calls from these guys.  Other names for the scam are Triangle Construction, Platinum Construction and Tip Top Construction.  Dont get mad, just ask for their call back number because you are 'thinking' of a project.  Then tell them your wife wants to know their contractor's license number.  They will fumble and get confused.   Then ask if they are really contractors.  Pretty funny.

A woman asked for me by my last name  .I said I had a problem with her calling me . She asked why I had  a problem . I told her, calling me from a disconnected or no longer in service number makes her a problem.  She stated that she was only doing her job . I told her bothering me was her job and hung up . She called back immediately . l let the answering machine take her call . She stated that I needed to GROW UP , as a child of God she would not give me a piece of he mind . I will save her message for a while.

I receive calls from this number repeatedly, no one is there when I answer. The number is listed as from Inglewood.

another fake number--if I let it ring three times, invariably there is no one there.  If I try to call it back, number is no good

This number keeps calling and not leaving a message.  It has a busy signal when I call it back.

Calls from this number at least 4-5 times per week.  I do not answer since called ID says "unknown".  Call blocking is experiencing a major fail lately as the number of these annoying calls is as bad as it was prior to the initiation of the program, after a lull when some telemarketers actually used the list.  Since there seems to be no penalty for continuing to call, they have gone back to their prior levels
