TURN THESE IN!  It takes 5 minutes to fill out both forms to the FTC and the FCC.  This texter gives a website, which IS traceable even if the phone isn't.  I got one of these stupid texts at 5:30 this morning.  Go to:http://www.fcc.gov/complaints  and fill out the FCC form then go to the Do Not Call Registry with the FTC website at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 .  I filled them both out, including the website address that was in the text.  Then I texted this creep and told him he's violated federal communication law and he's been turned in.

but i do know that when they say anything abot a gift card or a free i phone for free or something like that.hffffff u can hang that up no ones not gonna give u anything free and if they do and they say complete any 2 silver offers below thats a hang up to cause by the time u complete 2 u paid like 40 to almost 100$thats about how much its gonna be in the store they can also give ur computers viruses....

You will never see your IPAD or any other promised gift.  This is a ripoff and scam.  If you receive an unsolicited text from anyone offering you anything, remember it is 99.99% a ripoff at best or complete scam at worst.  These companies are criminal enterprises that are only looking for your personal information (to sell to other criminals) or they want your credit card information to send you illegal charges.  Common scams are free IPADs, Best Buy Certificates, Secret Shopper programs, etc.  

Also, there is pretty much NOTHING you can do to stop them from sending you a text, because these are criminals after all, and they will not stop.  DO NOT text them back, because that only validates you have a live number.  One of the best things you can do is contact your local media and help get the word out so people will NEVER give a penny to these criminals or a single piece of personal information.  Also, post as much information as possible to warn others.  You can, if you like, contact an attorney to see if you can track them down and sue.
