Just wondered who this is

It's Protocol according to my caller ID from my phone call yesterday.  They called again today and left a message that they were Protocol and trying to get a message either to my ex husband or my son (they have the same name), left a name and phone number to contact.  Ya, they'll get their money sometime after I get my $25K out of him.

I bought a car at Durant Toyota in Weatherford, Texas.  The next day I got a call from 310-862-9037 with "TOYOTA" on my caller ID.  They asked about my purchase experience.  I would not answer their questions.  Now they call everyday and hang up on me.  I Called Durant Toyota and told them that I DO NOT GIVE OUT MY PHONE NUMBER AND I DO NOT WANT THEM GIVING OUT MY PHONE NUMBER...

I printed this page along with photo's of my caller ID to show Durant Toyota in Weatherford, Texas what this company is doing to their customers.  They had no idea this was going on. They contacted Gulf States Toyota and made a demand that this company with phone #310-862-9027 STOP calling their customers NOW!  Thanks to this web sight TOYOTA will no longer call customers. I want to thank the owner of this web sight.

Toyota is still doing this two years later -- I bought a Toyota in CT and they've called me four times. I don't pick up the phone if I don't know who's calling.

I received a call from them yesterday with no message.  They called today but the number was listed as unknown.  They left a message this time and that they were trying to get a message to either my son or my ex (they have the same name).  I assume it's my ex since I have received collections calls on him for years.  The guy left his name and number for a call back.  Ya, they'll get money after I get my $25K out of the b*****d.

Call came in at 8:15 AM to VM; Redialed the caller ID number and answers to Protocol Recovery.... Spoofed Caller ID is common for Protocol Recovery where it simply claims the town and state; and fools you into answering. The algorithm can detect a human vs an answering machine when they call you, but sometimes they are just trying to log an attempt to contact, until they figure they have a live phone to their "mark".

The VM was a standard message to call back 1-877-678-0567... Strangely, the message did not say who they were attempting to contact, though it it says that if you are not the party that the message is for, you should hang up ;)
