Got a call from 310-340-7333 which is a bogus number. I hung up after playing them the message you get when calling that number. They called back from a live number which was (818)340-7333 from a company called NRG. Maybe we should call them and find out why they like calling from bogus numbers.

Live person called offering a cleaning special on A/C & Heater cleaning. Strung they guy along; after all time is money and the more of their time I can waste they more money they waste.
After a few minutes he said I was being nice and asked me if I was one of those people who want on the DNC list! Seriously.

Called my cell phone 11/27/13 twice in two minutes. Left no message. You can block calls to your cell phone with a free service youmail.com. I'll block them and file a complaint.

You should be able to set your cell phone ..... where you can reject a call anytime you don't recognize the # ... you will not be charged for the call if you don't answer. Your provider should be able to show you how.

called me, heard background voices, caller did not respond when I said hello, a pause, still no reply from caller, I hung up.
called the number back through caller ID, message said phone out of service...anyways looks like an unsolicited caller trying to sell, steal or scam something

Speaking of false advertizing...the DNC list is bogus. It is a trick by your gubrmint to make you think they have your interests at heart...they don't. It is a gubrmint scam! Not quite as good as gubrmint cheese.
On a land line phone a good call blocker is fun and keeps repeated calls at bay. Panasonic makes a cordless phone system that can block up to 250 numbers.

Unwanted, illegal, unsolicited robo-call. I filed a formal online complaint with the FCC. Not that they can do anything about it - they are overwhelmed with complaints, and a lot of these telemarketing BOZOS are using computer software to call millions of numbers a day.
I'm also going to call my cell phone provider and complain that they want extra money to block unwanted calls.
