I received a call from this number. On the line was someone claiming to be Captain Kirk, and he was asking for a guy named Mister Spock. I told him that Mr. Spock didn't live at my house, and hung up.

I haven't answered any of there calls, they just leave a message on my voice mail.I think they are a scam, i got a certified letter that i had to sign for from the Indiana IRS collections department. They said i owe 549$. The mailman also gave me my mail for the day and in it i get a letter from premiere saying i am in default on my Indiana state taxes and owe 611$ In the letter from the Indiana IRS it says 549$ due 10/24/10 and it also states if i don't pay they will take the tax out of my federal tax return and charge an additional 22$. So is this premiere credit bill a scam or is it something like an option to pay in installments? They will pay my tax debt and i will owe them the debt and some interest. The letter they sent reads like i have no choice and owe them the money. I will call the IRS tomorrow.

What business does a collection agency have talking to your neighbors, when the only legit reason they can, is to "locate" you??

Get this ... if they are calling your neighbors with the "reference check" ploy ... by definition, they already know where you are. Hell, they are calling your neighbors. How did they know who your neighbor was, if they didn't already know where you were.

This is a FDCPA violation, subject to a $1,000 award, plus attorney fees.

It's, plain & simple, harassment.

Squish these Premiere Credit A$$wipes ... flood ED, the FTC, & FCC with complaints about their illegal tactics!

Want a laugh??

Visit Premiere Credit's employment page .... http://www.mypremierejobs.com/positions.aspx

Please note how the "big brains" of the corrupt management operate, as they fill their chairs, and headsets, with the low IQ collectors:

They proudly portray that their collectors earn $70k. .... True to form, it's very misleading, and likely an outright lie.

Here's what they are really saying (and these numbers are, no doubt, very questionable) ... Their collectors earn from $20k - $120k, with a MEDIAN salary of $70k.

The "median" is the average of 2 numbers ... the highest & lowest. $20k plus $120k divided by 2.

20 + 120 = 140
140 / 2 = 70

Premiere may have one collector who "hit their equivalent of a  lottery" and earned $120k in a recent year, although I really doubt it.

Without a doubt Premiere has no shortage of low IQ collectors earning $20k, or less ... This is probably 95%+ of their collector work force.

If you took an "average" wage for Premiere debt collectors, it would be much closer to $20k. Here's what it likely looks like ...

~100 collectors @ $20k
1 collector @ $120k (if you even want to believe that)

Bottom Line .... This scumbag operation is corrupt & misleading from top to bottom, in all their practices.

Who aspires to be a debt collector, eh, .... WHO????

Remember ... It's $1,000 PLUS attorney fees for EACH violation!

There are plenty of hungry consumer affairs attorneys out there who would love to get the fees they can add to your judgement.

Put em to work. The Premiere Credit violations are so rampant, and easy to prove / document, it's a shame not to deal with the scum in a court of law.

Folks,

If you haven't already, start logging all the illegal, and "borderline", activity.

- dates & times of all "suspected" calls from Premiere

- area codes & numbers of suspect spoofed phone calls

- names, dates, and queries these scumbags made of neighbors, relatives, employers, etc

- calls to your workplace, etc

These A$$wipe violate the FDCPA every hour of every day, and they know it ....

  http://fdcpaviolations.com/fdcpa.htm

What reason do they have to call several of your neighbors regarding a "bogus reference check" when they already know where you live / work ... and already have your phone number??? Why would they ask your neighbors if they know your cell phone number, if they are doing a "reference check".

As has been stated many times, the debt collection business is populated, for the most part, by very low IQ losers of questionable morals. The founders of this mess of an operation are a couple of A$$wipes who couldn't find anything better than debt collector's jobs when they got out of college, managed to get fired from those lousy jobs, and begged Wolfe's ugly wife's mother for money to start their own debt collection operation.

Start logging, my friends. You will no doubt be able to show a pattern, and generally accepted Premiere "operating procedures" of harassment, abuse, and the intent of annoying debtors .... ALL VIOLATIONS of the FDCPA!

Although Premiere is already liable for $1,000 for each documented violation, you will be able to get much more when you can demonstrate personal damages they have caused you. PLUS attorney's fees.

Here's a link to attorneys who will sue the scum for the fees the court awards them.

http://fdcpaviolations.com/fdcpa.htm

Like I said ... log, log, log. When you've had enough, contact an attorney. Everything you have logged will be verified from Premiere's call logs during discovery.

My family is also dealing with rude and harassing phone calls from Premiere Credit.  My unsuspecting mother received a phone call concerning a friend or family member who had used her as a reference.  Thinking she was being helpful, she proceeded to give out MY personal information (such as address, current place of work, etc.).  After answering several questions she realized that I had never mentioned using her as a reference and became suspicious.  She told them she would have to contact me to make sure this was legitimate.  I was totally confused and had no clue who these people were, they hadn't contacted me personally.  When she called them back to question the reason for the call they became very hostile.  They claimed that I had a defaulted student loan from a college in New York (I went to school in Indiana).  Obviously, they have someone with the same name but are barking up the wrong tree.  When my mother refused to give any more information, especially my soc. # the man became increasingly rude.  He then threatened to garnish my wages because my mother had given him my place of work.  Days later my payroll director informed me that indeed someone had called to attempt to do just that.  She said she had checked my soc. # to the one given and they were TOTALLY different.  Obviously, they have the wrong person and I don't know what else to do to stop them.  They have also called my mother using a local number of an attorney.  After calling the attorney, he had no knowledge of this company and said what they were doing was illegal.  They were able to reroute the call through his # to make it appear as though it were local. To this day I (the supposed debter) have never recieved a phone call or a single piece of mail that indicates anything authentic.  What should I do now?

I do not even have a credit card and has never bought anything on credit. it's very frustrating to receive such calls and waste my minutes. Now they have resorted to using this funny numbers. I got the same angry "drill Sargent" yelling into my answering machine sometimes 3 times a day. I was a little leery about calling bc I am in college and was terrified that some mistake had been made. However, when I called they were polite. All I said was my phone number and who specifically  were they asking for bc all the ever said was " the individual at this phone number", I wasn't giving them any info. I didn't need to give. Turns out a girl at my work, who was fired months ago, gave MY number as hers! The lady said she would remove my number, so lets just see...

The first time I was conatacted was from 311-556-3320. Now two months later I am amazed! This company was able to use a number that is associated with a local cell phone company. They are rude, aggressive, and very deceitful! I am not sure that they are who they claim to be. Yes, they claim they are trying to collect on a student loan, however, I paid that off years ago. Everything about the way they handle business says fraud!

I recieved a call from this number with a recording saying they were contracted by the internal revenue to collect a debt, which I don't even owe. I called the IRS about this and even submitted a form about it because the IRS does NOT call (they mail) nor do they contract collection agencies to collect debts. If need be where they can't collect a debt from someone then they'll use the federal marshalls but NOT collection agencies.

Just give them the information they want!  But give them the wrong information.  It's never going to stop, so have fun.  Just make stuff up as they ask for information.  Heck!  It just might get them off your back.  They called me last night (a Friday) at 08:30 PM and said nothing -- just air.  I can't wait until they call me back.  I'm going to really have fun.  If they are going to do it to us and the government isn't going to do anything, then let's do it to them!!!  Get what I mean?

******PLEASE REPORT THIS COMPANY TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION(FTC) complaint@ftc.gov****
This number belongs to a credit collection company called PREMIER CREDIT. The number 311-566-3320 calls your cell phone and accesses your voice mail. This company called someone who left me a message that I had not spoken to since high school and told them I used them as a credit reference. The only way they could have gotten my friends number was from my voice mail.

Last weekend I had 9 voice messages that I had not listened too. On Sunday morning when I went to listen the messages they were all erased. On Monday Premier credit had called my friend who left me a message.

This is illegal. I reported them to the FTC. If enough people report them they will be investigated. Below is the response from the FTC...

Thank you for contacting the Federal Trade Commission. We entered the information you provided into our shared law enforcement data base. We share this data base with Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies. Attached is your electronic response, which includes your reference number. I live in Alaska and I received a call today from this number, the guy claiming to be a debt collector on my student loan. He claimed I owe 12K on my student loan, even though I only borrowed 5K, it's been 3 years and each year the state has been taking my dividend (1500$ roughly). I figured this might be a scam because there's simply no way interest could jump up that high. The man was very demanding, asking for my HOURLY RATE, debit card info, bank account info, routing number... I told him to please die in a fire and I'll deal with the state directly. Anyone else in Alaska having weird calls like this? Hit me up at im.gosu@hotmail.com...

I am a student and a single mother. 20 years ago I had a student loan. I recieved a phone call from a woman named Naila who turned me over to another woman who said her name was Betty Brown who turned me over to an acting supervisor named Andrew all 3 stated their company was  representing the state of "!" postsecondary school of education. They claimed I still owed in the amount of $3,599.00 and could work out an payment for me in three installments. They were aggressive and sounded as if they had all the facts they had me convinced at on point and I went as far to give them my address and birthdate. THey requested the last 4 digits of my social and a routing number, which, thank GOD I didn't give up at the time. They said things like; than your refusing to pay, we will collect on this, and so on and so forth. I approached on of my associates and she suggested that I go to scams international, finally I just looked up Premiere Credit scams and there was the number 311-556-3320. WHEW thank you so much you have helped me from making a terrible mistake!

Been getting this number saying they are a credit collection agency and that they are collecting for Dianogtics Health.  Their recording gives me 5 seconds to hang up if I do not have anything to do with this agency.  But they still call.  If you stay on the line they give you an 800 number. I can't understand the number. I've recorded it and played it over and over and tried several different number that it could be and no luck.
