Got the text from 19177427641 that my entry won and to go to http://bestbuy-me.com.  I never enter my cell number anywhere, so I knew this was a scam and you can't go to the website on a computer.  I never access the web with my phone either.

got this message I had won and to go onto the website and enter 7777 code. Ive never even shopped at Best Buy but thought maybe my sister or friend had registered me. The number was 1-562-243-9371

Same web site, same promo code.  Only difference the phone number that contacted me was 310-729-5712

Got a txt message:

"Your Entry Last Month Has WON!!! Go to BestBuy-me.com and Enter Your Winning Code: 7777 To Claim Your FREE $1000 BestBuy Gift Card."

It is a scam... It puts a tracking cookie on your PC, you can also see a tracking website in the URL box when you click submit. It is possible that they are distributing viruses this way so they can steal credit info. They may do the same on your phone, except they charge you weekly. Don't go to this website, im already noticing some weird crap happening since I clicked on it.

same message...sounds like a scam

I got the same message to claim my 1000 dollar best buy gift card. Had copy right and everything imitating the exact look of best buys site. The only difference was that this number started as 310 not 312 but had the identical message

received the same messag this morning from phone number 636-297-4026. was sceptical because i frequently shop at Best Buy, am a Best Buy Rewards member, they would have contacted me with the "sensitive" information shared with them upon registration.  i text back "STOP" to the scammers.

Just got that message txt to me, 917-573-7792, do not go there, scam!
