It's not a collection agency.  If you have a natural gas bill, they are calling to ask for a payment.  It doesn't mean your in "collections" you just have a bill thats past due.  They're just trying to keep your services from being cut.  They are the third party for whomever you gas company is.

its a collection call from Just Energy, who used to be US Energy Savings Corp. they were a company that promised cheaper energy bills but ended up just as parasites on Nicor bills and costing people 50% more each month. there was a whole class action suit against them through the state attorney general at the end of '09. just told them i was one of the people that got screwed over by them and they dropped the whole collection thing and said they were sorry to bother me.
