Received a call today from 1-256-718-0264 (Todd Gillreath came up on caller ID).  Had a call on 8-8 Caller ID said Frank Crawford.  Today, the man that called had heavy accent, what was most distressing was he knew my first and last name.  Told Him I would not discuss any of my financial information with him and he hung up.  I have had threatening messages left on my answering machine as well from these same numbers.  This person hung up when I questioned him today.  When you call these numbers back they are no longer in service or a non-working number.  I filed a complaint today with the Do Not Call Registry.

Ugh! How does these morons get numbers when you're on the Do Not Call List?  They've called 3x a day for a week, finally picked up and they hang up if they don't get who they want... I hate this crap ...

A "gentleman" with a thick Indian accent called from this number this morning (my caller ID said it was an Unknown Name but it gave this phone number).  He gave his name but I did not catch it.  He said he was from "American Financial."  He asked for my husband and I told him that he wasn't available.  He then asked if I was Mrs. D.  I said yes and then he said he could see that we had more than $10K in credit card debt.  I told him that we do not discuss our financial situation over the phone and then I hung up.  By reading a few other comments about this number, I can see that I will be hearing more from him...UGH.

I seriously think it is the same person, working from a central location and using different phone numbers from different area codes.  If the guy says his name is Marvin, then he was using a phone number from Georgia for a while as well.  and yes, very abusive.  Have reported the calls to the donotcall list and the fcc several times.

Also received a call from a Frank Crawford tonight and am very concerned he will be calling me again. The phone number that came across was 312-649-0727. My residence is in Shelby county TN

Scam alert: Just received a phone call from 312-649-0727. The number is registered to a Frank Crawford. The caller was a foreign sounding man (Pakistani or Indian accent) and claimed that he was from "National Financial". He said that his records indicated that I have a lot of credit card debt and that his firm could cut the debt in half. When I stated that I was not interested in any kind of phishing scams he quickly hung up. DO NOT answer calls from 312-649-0727!  

Does anyone know how to report these callers to an agency that can actually do something about it?

I think they are connected to 312-962-0225 in some way.  They are really awful.  Do not confirm any info they have about you or give them any new info.  SCAM ALERT!

received an abusive call from a so called credit card debt counselling, when told him I do not need it, he told me, with a heavy foreign accent "you are the biggest stupid..."

I finally answered them after them calling repeatedly.

It was a telemarketing call trying to get me to refinance unsecured debt with them.  The caller was obviously foreign and when I said I was not interested, this is what he said:

Telemarketer called and when I said I wasn't interested, he said in what?  I said in a telemarketing call.  He says, "Do I look like a telemarketer?"  He then hung up on me.

He never identified his company or gave me his name.  His absurd attempts to be friendly were out of line.

Have had this number come up as "Frank Crawford" on my phone several days in a row so I finally decided to pick up and tell them to put our # on their Do Not Call list. The man that was on the other end asked for my husband by name, said he was calling from National Financial. When I said he was not available and that we would like to not be contacted by them in the future he threatened me and said he was going to show up on my doorstep since I said my husband was not home. We are going to call the local police department to see what our options are however it is just sad when you can't answer your own telephone anymore.

This guy has called at 4 times a day, for the past year. He claims I have around 15K in credit card dept and he can help. I have informed him many times that I don't have half that, and I am not interested. I have asked many times, to be put on the no-call list. He hangs up before I finish. He calls back from a day later from a different number, and says "Hi..., I spoke with you tow days ago and you said you were busy, and asked me to give you a call back". I am fed up with him. I never know when to answer, because he calls from different numbers all the time. I had my phone provider block the number for 2 months. It didnt do any good because they call from different numbers. He called one day, and I handed the phone to my husband. The guy got mad and cussed my husband out. My phone provider said the only way to stop this is, if enough people complained to the FBI. Dont know if this would actually work or not. I cannot tell you how fed up I am.
