I keep gettings calls from 312-878-5679. They call me everyday! And never leave a voice message. What is really going on?

I called the number and if you want to be removed from their calling list they have a automated system that allows you to have your number removed.

Would not leave a message nor name. Has called numerous times.

Last year I had to block the messaging it was cost me money
now I do not answer cost my air time is I do darn it!!!

Caller ID showed "Classes Online"  Caller said they were calling in response to classes I had allegedly signed up for online.  I told them I did not do that.  They then went into a spiel about buying a home security system at a discount.

Calls me at 7 in the morning every day for the last 4 days.

The Career Institute. Press Option 2 to be removed from their list.

Would like to know if this is an residents or company

It's a place called 'The Career Institute'.

I suspect this is more phishing just to verify that the number is genuine.  I got a call from this number today and no message was left.  I have been slammed with calls from "Unknown" and unsolicited texts in the past two days.

Called at 830pm left no message.

Hang up...I'm on the do not call list. Why do they keep calling!!!!

I answered, then they asked for some girls name! I tried to ask "who are you trying to reach" & they didn't answer and hung up! I hope someone finds out who they are & jerks there a** through the phone & rings there neck!

When I returned a call because I was curious, the message begins by stating that they match students with online courses throughout the United States.

they give me a web address I can;t rember  do you know it

For the last few days I've been receiving calls from this number, 302-394-6827, and 213-289-5542. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I called this number back and it was answered by a recording that said they were the College Institute or some such nonsense. I was given the option to press "2" to have my number removed from their calling list, which I did. Let's see if it works.

I've received 3 calls from the following numbers:

213-289-5542 - Sat 11/27/10 8:21am missed call, no message
302-394-6827 - Sat 11/27/10 10:16am missed call, no message
312-878-5679 - Mon 11/29/10 11:22am

I picked up today's phone call.  They said I filled out an online application and/or survey about online classes, and I said I had not.  The guy started saying that I was pre-qualified for a home security system at a discount, and I interrupted him to say that I'm not interested and to take me off their list.  He said he would remove me from their call list.

Possible cause: I started a survey from a general survey/rewards site but closed out of the window before submitting my information to any companies so the survey site must have sold my information.

These telemarketing calls are from the "Career Institute".
To Stop These Calls:

1. Call the number back (302.394.6827)
2. You'll get a recorded greeting
3. Option 2 will get you off of their list.
4. Punch 2 to activate the process
5. Punch 2 AGAIN to confirm that your are calling from the # that they called you on.

Note: After my call to them I called back on my cell phone and repeated the process so that number is now blocked also

Okay, got this call from this number through my magicJack line. I think it has to do with the home security systems because last week, this guy calls with the spiel about home security and hubby talks to him, blah, blah, blah, and we think all good and done. Then today, the number pops up on mJ. Yeah, probably a cc scam.

Person called did not  respond when I answered the phone, and did  not leave any message.

thanks for the info--now i know. I think it came from one of those employment sites that you have to pass through in order to get to the real application.

I have just begun to get all kinds of calls from corporations claiming they are owed money. Whats funny is that there is no money and they are committing fraud because there was not full disclosure in the contract i allegedly signed.  If you notice that all the mail that come to "you" is in all CAPS or has a surname.  Well that's because they are not addressed to you, they are addressed to the legal fiction your parents created in a corporation when you were born.  No man has authority over another without consent of that party. Did you know that you legally don't know your birth date because its all hearsay.  The only thing that has a date of birth is your legal fiction which is the document stating the event that took place.  Wake up people we have all been lied to and tricked into slaves. The matrix is all around us. I don't expect that you will just believe.  What i do expect is that you verify the info out for yourself.

This sounds exactly what's happening to us now.  What do they hope to get out of it??????
