Text message that say enter acct number or will be deactivated

I received the same email from phone # 313-330-0734 directing me to call 734-516-7113. This is a scam. Another way to tell its a scam is the "alert" said the card started with 4626, anything associated with a credit card (or even your SSN) will use the last four digits.

same thing just happened to me...I knew it was a scam, but was curious if  those numbers matched my card, thinking that they somehow stole my information, but I see from here that they use the same four numbers 4626 for everyone. Not very nice, indeed!

I just received the same text. It will be reported to my carrier.  It is a scam. Do NOT reply to that number.

I just got the same message and my husband got the same message a few minutes later...same exact message. So glad we looked it up...since we both figured it was a scam!

Same thing just happened to me "CSCU ALERT: Your CARD starting with 4626 has been DEACTIVATED. Please call: blahblahblah"

Don't have a card with those numbers but I feel bad if someone happens to. Not going to call it myself but wondering how the scam works beyond this phony text.

Got the text twice from two different numbers; the first was 734-250-1569 and the second was 313-404-0268. Both had the identical message that a card was deactivated starting with a number that didn't match the only card I have. I also don't belong to a credit union, so this was easy to tell was a scam.

My sister called them without realizing it was a scam, and they asked for her social security number and credit card information... don't ever, ever give those to people if you can help it. No one important is EVER going to text you with or for information like that.

i got the text: CSCU ALERT your card starting with 4626 has been DEACTIVATED  please call 734-250-1861.  I don't have card starting with 4626, i googled the phone number and found i am not the only one.

This is a scam. I googled CSCU and 734 and hit on this website. It happened 6 days ago from a different number to many other people.

recieved call that a card had been deactivated and to call 734-250-1861. the card that was given we do not have and believe this to be a scam.
