I received 4 calls from 314-501-2869 less than 1/2 hour apart near dinner time. When I answer the call - silence. This began 1/25/2014.
I never had a problem with these types of calls until 1/24/2014 when I received a series of 4 calls from 248-520-1340 - same thing - 4 calls around dinner time, and when I answered the phone - silence. It happened again on 1/25/2014 - so I put the number on my handset's reject list - thinking that would get rid of him for good. Ten minutes later I was hit with two calls from 384-596-7021, same thing, I answered the phone - silence. So that number went on the reject list. After that I started getting the calls from 314-501-2869 - now that one is on the reject list, but they keep trying.
It is interesting that the same group of numbers is harassing Paz -- maybe I never stayed on the line long enough for a sales pitch, since I think it rude of someone to call me and not speak when I answer the phone

They say "Auto Care", sometimes it's "US Safe Auto".
I got called by them twice in the last hour. As of yesterday I've been getting calls hourly from this number, as well as:
877-886-9298
248-520-1340 (Oakland County, Michigan)
384-596-7021 (Unassigned area code)
The unassigned number makes me think they're spoofing caller ID - making caller ID look like any random number, even numbers that aren't assigned.
They've harassed me in the past, using these numbers:
888-452-3408
856-963-9210
They started with this number:
209-233-8864

It's the same people - I recognize the damn guy's voice - but if they've learned how to spoof caller ID it's impossible to block or, more importantly, to report them to the FCC.
