Called at 1:30 p.m. on October 12th, 2009. Said hello, then hung up.

That number called a few secoonds ago. A recordig said "Helo" and that's it.

to stop calling.  It's is probably a collection agency.
If it is for credit cards tell them to stop calling under
the Fair Debt Collections Act and to cease and desist,
otherwise, you will report them to the local office
of the Federal Trade Commission and your state's
Attorney General: Consumer Affairs.  They will get fined
BIG TIME if they continue.  It is a BETTER practice
if you notify them in writing, CERTIFIED!  They will hate you
because they are not allow to contact you OR your work
any longer!!!!

This person by the name Steve calls and talks about reducing payment rates, lower interest rates, etc. Also gives a 1-800 callback number. Does not identify himself with a company. An obnoxious weed to say the least !!

Called my business line, voice on the other end said uh hi.  I gave no response and he hung up.

Same cut short message from "Steve" asking me to call 800-321-8451 about making lower payments on who knows what.  On a cell phone.  Really annoying.  Have reported the number to FCC but does it really matter, they'll just change numbers and keep going!

ROBO-CALL about credit card interest.

guy voice, he was breaking up like he was on a cellphone.... he hung up right away
