Got a call from westgate no number came up said they were doing a survey but would not give any info unless I identified myself. I told them not to call back I was on a no call list. Strange company seemed like some type of scam.

Didn't answer this but saw it on my Caller ID .  I called them bak later to try to find out what they were
"researching".  They said they represent about 10 different companies on any given evening.  I asked
who those companies were and they said they were not at liberty to disclose that info.  Could be a legit
survey but I get SO many scam calls everyday, that I suspect EVERYONE.
The fact that this company has THIS website kinda confirms what I suspect.
BTW, the number that called was 314-824-6001...last digit being different.

i recieved several calls from this also. had them put me on the do not call list no more calls but then i recieved a check in the mail for 1,998.00 stating it was from westgate research the check stating it was from bb&t bank so i took it upon myself to go to bb&t bank told them gave them the check they researched it imediatly and found out it was a scam using their company name .lol...... good luck to them with that lawsuit

They have called me 2x and both times no message is left. I don't answer the phone if I'm not sure of the  number. This is annoying. I read on another website that it's WestGate Research. They're out of St. Louis, MO but the number that calls says Ladue, MO.

This caller (a live voice) called at 4:08pm EDT (06/06/10) asking for the name of a person that does not live here to conduct a survey whose name I couldn't quite make out.

I answered sternly that such a person does not live here and promptly hung up. I now wish I had answered nothing and hung up from the first.

The thing which concerns me is that my number is, as are all MagicJack numbers, non-published.

I wonder if this company is phishing/fishing for heretofore unknown non-published numbers to sell to others, as frequently come to my cell phone and has led me NOT to answer unknown callers.

1-618-576-6094 is another of these robo callers thatr does the same thing with the no answer and hangh-up stuff so,I set up my call forwarding to forward their calls which I don't answer to the 314-824-6009 number.........................who know's maybe they will talk to each other and leave me alone ?
but at any rate I f it continues I'm going to forward them to the mayor's office next and wait to see what happens after that.

Got a phone call from this number stating they wanted to ask me a few questions about my recent visit to an auto parts store I'm on the do not call list but I guess to some ppl that doesn't matter

414-824-6009 called and when we answered they hung up call them back and no answer.

I received a call from this number and I did not answer as I do not answer numbers I am not fimiliar with or know.  I tried to call back this number to advise them that I am on the no call list and only got a busy signal.

haha funny i just registered my cell phone witht he do not call list and 5 mins later i get a call from this number before that i NEVER got a call from this number hmmmm sounds like they are some how linked to that do not call number

They call repeatedly but do not leave a message. If I don't know the company then I don't answer...too many fraudulent things going on and I have better things to do with my time then hear another speel from them.  If they were a reputable company then they would leave a message so a call could be returned if I was interested.

I do not give my number out. I do not appreciate calls that I cannot return.

Called rec'd on 7/18/2010 for a survey regarding Custom Cuts, told them I wasn't interested and not to call back, rec'd a call from the same number on 7/20/2010 @ 5:10PM, did not answer and they did not leave a message.

It will do no good to report it for a violation of the Do Not Call list because research companies are exempt!  Only telephone solicitors (ones that are selling something) are covered under the Do Not Call list.  Just an FYI!!!

This # called our home about 7:15pm June 10 2010..
They did not speak.

This is why we don't do the surveys that restaurants want you to do.  You go onto all kinds of lists.
Then I have my boys during the day speak with them.  I open the line and plunk the phone in front of the radio.  It doesn't take long to get a dial tone...

Received a call from this number at 7:30 in the evening.  They left no message.  I do not like callers that do not leave a message - I figure if they want to talk to me, they should tell me who they are.

Research/survey calls aren't covered by DNC.

The person on the phone stated that they were doing a "customer service survey" for a company that I've never done, nor will ever do, buisness with. When I informed the caller that my number is on the Do Not Call List, they just laughed and said, "To bad".
Company has been reported to the FTC for violation of the Do Not Call List.
