I have gotten over 50 calls all month from this number. When I answered just now and they were talking I said, not very rudely, you guys have called me multiple times, i am in college, and i am staying at this school, and the guy hung up on me! i wanna call and complain just so he gets fired! how effing rude! you called me a***ole!

This number is from some college that  claimed I signed up to request additional information from an internet site.  I told them I am 62 years old and not interested in college so I would not have signed up for additional information.  I am still getting calls from them, I don't answer if I see a 315 area code

I keep getting calls from this nuimber because some woman named Corrine is using my number to register for baby stuff! Guess she won't get any!

Just got a call from this number for the first time and I'll bet it's the same jerks I told off this afternoon using a different number.  Both are evidently trying to sell you something related to education.

I?ve received 12 calls from 5 different numbers since 4/12/2010. It seems like all the phone numbers could be related? For numbers 888-271-7667 and 315-235-1487 have both called three times. Looks like they both claim to be some sort of educational planning services at first, but are clearly frauds.  Someone else found that numbers 508-962-1652 (called once) and 617-593-8835 (called twice) are from the Boston area? And I?m not sure what 305-942-5624 is about, but they also have called three times.

i got 1 just now. is it spam ?

These scammers are still calling.. 2-3 times a day..

We don't answer and have been on the "Do NOT Call" list for a long time..

Maybe some starving lawyer will go after them with a class action suit one day..

This number never stops calling leaves no message and I have NO idea who or why they are calling! How can I stop this?

I just start getting calls from this number 315 235 1487 today. I guess from trying numerous times to get me from 330-409-0368 and several other strange number they decided to switch numbers again. I never answer when they call so they call 15 times or more  a day. I dont know how they got my number but they need to loose it and get a life.

I ignorantly was filling out a survey linked to Facebook...now I'm getting calls. I didn't complete the survey, but they somehow retained my info. I didn't answer but looked up the info here.

join cablevision phone and all the scammers come in........they must sell the number....i've had this for 20 years and no  crank calls......one day on cablevision and boom...tons of calls

I didn't fill out anything. Suddenly as of yesterday I'm getting multiple aspam calls and texts from this number and many others. I've had my phone number for 10 years and now I may have to change it.

Based on the posts below, this number is keyed to some educational "planning" company.  I received a call and an e-mail at relatively the same time; I did not answer the call.  The e-mail touts a 5000 scholarship for going back to school (in my case) or furthering your education if you're still attending college.  Ironically, the night before the call, I participated in a "survey," in which a major computer manufacturer would send you a PAD for participating in a "short" survey.  Although it may seem like a stretch, I would infer the call from this number and my participation in the survey are related in someway.  I base this inference on the post by "In Atlanta" (see the posts below).  

It doesn't seem harmful at first blush, but this could be a scam.  If you haven't registered for the Do Not Call list, you probably should.

I went onto Best Buy's site to research a product, and had to go through some survey thing for a free gift card before I could get to the site.  I cancelled/logged out as it kept popping up with more and more offers.  One of the offers was for furthering my education - within an hour I received calls from 315-235-1487 and 888-884-8569 on my cell.  I did not answer, but after reading details for these numbers, it had to be from that gift card offer survey.  I should have known better than to list my number, I won't the next time.

I did some survey for wal-mart gift card which popped up on the website I trust.Late that night,I received three different calls from three different numbers.But I didn't answer them since I didn't recognize them.But I realized something now.Don't do survey on a pop ups even though the website u trust claims to have partnership with it.If you do, the number of "yes" you click on the survey for different issues is the number of phone calls you will get.

I attend college somewhere else and  have never given my information to this number......

It is exactly as they all state, wanting me to further my education.

NO THANK YOU, Not even sure about the whole do not call feature. They stress very highly about saying your complete name clearly. Seems my number should be more than enough ? hmmm

I have gotten a few calls from this number also. Anyone have an idea of who they are and what they want? I never answer because I don't know the number, AND if they don't leave a voicemail, then obviously it isn't THAT important!! LOL

I've gotten called three times between last night and today.  I didn't pick up since I didn't recognize #.  So annoying.

This number belongs to a scammer who is running around trying to get people to sign up for some phony baloney "education planning".

I GOT A CALL AND CALLED THEM BACK. IT SOME KIND OF EDUCATIONAL ADVISORS.  YOU CAN HAVE YOUR NAME REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST IF YOU CALL AND SELECT OPTION 6.

um I didnt answer it because I didnt know who it was from and they didnt leave a message...does anyone know who it belongs to?
