frequent calls--don't bother to answer

My elderly mother keeps getting calls from this #. Meanwhile, she is also on the Do Not Call Registry.

Anyway...here is an FYI...I just called the number from my cell ph. A computer generated voice says "if you wanna be removed from the call database, please press "1". I did that and then the voice says something like "please allow 48 hours to be removed".

PLEASE NOTE: You need to call from the ph # that you want removed. In other words, I need to call from my mother's phone to get this accomplished....it doesnt allow me to just punch in her number.

Caller ID states REBATE DEPARTMENT--calls EVERY evening around 7 p.m.  No one speaks when answered.  Unable to connect during call back.  Suspect some sort of scam......

i keep getting calls from this number telling me i owe some company which i never order from.

Calls numerous times, leaves no message.  Today I pushed 5 - wanted my electril bill number, I asked for their phone number to call THEM with my information.  I was told it was an automated number.  Then I asked them to send me information in the mail,  The female wished me a good day & hung up.  I'm sick & tired of these calls.  Can anything be done?

It's from Clayton, NY which is outside of Watertown on the Stawrence River. It's a very very small town -- weird.

Is there anyone who lives in the Syracuse area who will call this number locally to see who, if anyone, answers?
I am in area code 518. If you leave me numbers in my area, I will call them and let everyone know who they either are or are pretending to be.

315 area code tracks to: New York (primarily serves Syracuse). Not that that really tells us anything.

I am getting calle 6 times a day. Finally stayed on to talk to a person and as soon as I asked for them to remove me from phone list they hung up

Get this call several times,, call back, you get natta and option to be put on a do not call list, press 1 now.  Probably someone's setup in their basement.

Third time in a week.  Fisrt time there was a voice.  Recording saying that I can save money on my electric bill.  "Push 5 to talk to an opeator."  I did.  He wanted my electric bill number.  I said NO and asked how he could save me money.  He hung up.  Jerk.

Got unsolicited call from 315-285-9932 and the caller ID said Rebate Dept.

Another phoney telemarketer call. Don't believe a caller ID like this, especially when they leave no message on your phone. It looks like another scam call to me.

No voice message and I am expecting no rebates by phone, so it's another scamming telemarketer calling. What an ugly way to make a living.
