Why is this number calling mr at 6:40 am and doesn't even leave a message!! Call is way too early give me my privacy!!!

Just called my mobile 4pm UK time whilst at work. Came up as a New York number. Didn't answer. Glad I didn't. Will block.

Im in UK this number called me today. Tried to tell me he was from microsoft and my computer had critical errors. I asked which one as have more than one. He asked me to turn my computer on and would tell me my miscrosoft ID number to prove he was genuine. I asked which computer and he said they all go through the same IP address. I told him yes but they have different microsoft ID numbers. He started getting really aggressive and shouting at me down the phone saying its the windows vista one. After a couple more minutes of this cretin shouting at me I told him I didnt believe he was who he said he was and told him not to contact me again. We will see..... I contacted trading standards and called microsoft to see if they had called me. Surprise surprise they hadnt!!!!

Another Scam...

Some guy calls me to say my computer is generating errors and he is from Windows Technical.  I knew it was a scam so I played along.  I did not even turn on my computer.  I played dumb and said my computer restarted itself.  He asked me "Are you fool?"

This guy has huge nerve so I asked for his supervisor and he said he was the senior tech support supervisor.  I kept him on the phone for over five minutes which was my goal.  He also got quite upset, a good plus.

If this call comes to you as well tell him the message ager you type in eventvwr is Firewall damaged and see what happens.  Play as a clumsy computer user and waste their time, if you have a few minutes to spare.  

They need to be stopped, but until then we can slow them down!

Recieved a call today an imediatly worried me as do not know anyone in Syracuse, NY (Popped up under the number) so let it go to VM. These seem to be offering debt advice this time, not as others here have said, computer issues. Without a doubt phishing/scam call.

Got this call, waited a few seconds and heard a "hello" with a lot of noise in the back, I answered with our small business name, but that he hung in ? We have about 5 of these calls every day, I wrote a letter to the CEO of Telus to help to stop/block all this. There was a judge in Nova Scotia ruling that the telephone company must protect you from those calls.

I'm in MA.  Got that call about my computer and I hung up.  Just happens that it's about 2 miles from my mother.

And almost all these calls come from Blue States, States that went to Obama.

Instead of Turbin Durbin, I will forward these calls to Senator Chuck You Schumer. That's in his district.

This A-R-A-B raghead terrorist trespassed on my phone just now, I cussed out Mohammed and I cussed out Allah, and I threatened to blow up his country.  He hung up.

I will forward future calls to Democrapic Senator Turbin Durbin's ObamaLand NaziNois Office.  

Wonder if he will wage war on our country? Then we will nuke him.

Scam city.  Lucky for me they managed to call on the phone I can block numbers on.

I have received multiple calls from India wanting me to log into their site. They even go so far to say that they can tell my computer has a virus. They also have said they are from Microsoft! I agree donnot log in to their site!

Had a call today. Same story. I´m in the Netherlands

job offer

The caller said that he was Microsoft Security Center because i had a lot of virus, etc on my computer and he wanted to me turn on my computer, etc... I asked what phone number he was calling from and gave me a totally different number. I said thanks for the SCAM and he hung up.

CID also said "payphone"

caller with a very heavy accent stated that my computer had a problem.
this is the same scam trying to get your personal info.

First he asked for my husband saying his windows 7 is messed up, well my husband comp. dose not have window 7. This person could not tell me my last name and I informed him that he should have the name in front of him. He still could not answer that question. I even ask why calling from a payphone, said he wasn't. I said well I will call Micro. myself if I have a problem then hung up.

Received a call from this number. Caller said he was calling about Microsoft Windows. When I said I didn't have time he repeatedly swore at me several times. When I laughed he swore again a couple times then hung up.  I'm in Ontario, Canada.

Caller called and I said take me of your list. The caller replied "Shut up! FU** you!" I am in Canada.

A guy with an indian accent was on the other end. The call seemed automatically dialed. First question: He wanted to know if "I own my phone #", which was a weird wording and set off a warning flag already. Then he said: "Oh sir I know you run a computer with the MS-Windows OS and there would be some problems that he wanted to investigate". I did not have the nerves to further continue that stupid conversation and hang up. I am sure its a scam. I am also a software developer for the last 20 years and being a MSDN subscriber I know that Microsoft would not contact by phone in such flimsy way. So people be aware and block this number on your phone, it does not look legitimate.

I've had 4 calls from this number each claiming my windows os is about to cause massive world war or some such thing.
I stopped her and said how, considering I do not have a windows pc? She said 'I do not know but you must do as we say.'
I said "Why do you keep calling me? to which the answer was (and I quote) "To FU** you up!"
To which I replied 'Take me off your effing call list before I find a friend who will do the same to you"

I'm on the W coast of Canada btw lol.

I'm from Canada and had that caller ID 315 458 7682 on my phone today but no message.

Got this call I answered but didn't say anything..the guy had a Hindi accent..I am sure this # will call me back again...

Asked for someone named Russell Duggan, I've had this number for 14 years. Caller has a strange accent too.

I live in Sweden. I got a call from this number today. I wasn't home to take the call but saw it on my CID. He left no message. I didn't recognize the number or the area code so I googled it and found out it's a scam number. Why is this guy calling numbers in Europe? How did he get my number? I talk by phone and Skype with lots of people in the States so maybe he somehow stole their address book, phone number list, etc., etc.

Like a few others, my caller claimed to be calling from the technical department of Windows.
He said that there were a number of error reports sent to them over the past few weeks, and he was calling to fix the problems.   Given that I wanted to hear the whole "story", I went along for the ride. I listened to a bunch of nonsense for a while.
When he started trying to give me instructions (for my PC, of course), I interrupted him to ask him what the error reports were concerning. Instead of replying to this, he said that I would see it right in front of my eyes on my screen.
The ride was over- I had better things to do than listen to a scam artist.
My advice? Hang up, and then put this  number on your call block service.

Got a call first on my VOIP line, said Payphone. I didn't answer it. Then on my Boost Mobil cell phone which I answered. He spoke in very broken English (Hindi accent) and told me I had my computer connected to the Internet and it was causing trouble to someone (I couldn't understand him). I asked him how he knew who I was as I have 1 hardware and 2 software firewalls and NO ONE can see my computer. I then told him that I am a computer wizard (which I am) and he hung up... just like that. Shitbird! Sounds fishy to me, don't give them the time of day.
