i had a call myself today well more like 20  from 941 - 244- 3613 it was a m indian guy or somthing very hard to understand but he told me  they had an affidavid for me and i was being sued by american payday loans for like 5000 lol well if i had 5000 i sure as hell wouldnt be drivin a 97 chevy prism lol id be shoppin and i told the guy i never recived a loan and that i hadent even had a job in over a year and he  got mean then i told him id have to contact the police because there must be some fraud going on somewhere here and he hung up so i called back asking him the questions this time  he got even madder told me not to worry that they would be coming to my front door in the morning to arrest me for theft and  like 2 other charges he said they were filed with my local court house so i ask whats my court house he didnt even know lol then ask me for my info i said well if this is legitr shouldnt u have it but he did have my email address my last 4 of my social and my birthdate so im kinda scared because ive never ever had a loan or anything so how does he have my info is this a scam i ask the guy for his info where they were at and such but he wouldnt tell me and hung up he said he was from a lawfirm but said it so fast i didnt get it so i ask again he said cant u understand english lol

Now they are attempting to 'sell' me a puppy if I pay them $250. for a plane ticket.  It must be sent Western Union.  SCAM!

They got me in November saying that they were from Global Credit services  Rick Daniels, and they said they were from Us legal dept. 315-849-3117 and I paid them 1168 dollars which I am fighting for now. Now another company is trying US Cash Advance phone number 206-567-2955 a Andrew Mc Donald with same mo. I will be thrown in jail, yaddy yaddy. Well I told him I got suckered once and see him in Court. as to Broadway Global Master Inc well there number is 866-234-8815 and you have to leave a message. Also all the numbers I have from previous Rick Daniels is disconnected. I am so pissed. I am a single parent and was already struggling.

I just received the very same call from phone #718-841-6472 for the very same amount (5,484.87). The name i was given was Steve Brown or Eddie Jones. He stated the 3 charges against me. I never received any money from a payday loan that he mentioned. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Today I received a call form this number. There was a voice message left saying something like. I am calling from crime investigation the very second that you get this call, call me back on my hotline 646-401-0919. So then my work phone had the same call come through saying that if I did not follow up with them then there would be someone at my door tomorrow morning with court papers. So I called the number back because they left the last 4 digits of my social on my voicemail. As soon as I called I heard the same indian halibaba that was on my voice mail except this time he changed his name from Mike Miller to Matt Miller. He said sir I will take you off my call list. I thought that it was over until he called me back and 5 Minutes later saying he was someone else. I asked him what company was he calling from. He ignored me and tried to get information out of me. He said that I had 3 federal counts against me. I began to get worried thinking that this could be real. He then tried to explain a fake case that was pending. I told him I had not information about that and had never taken out a loan with cash partners of america. He said that he would forward me to his supervisor. His supervisor with the exact same voice as him came on and said that his name was Ryan Scott. I asked him why was I being bugged and what was this about. He then began to tell me that I had stole money and that I was involved in check fraud. He then said he would read me my afadavid (or however you spell it) He said it was important that I did not stop him from talking. Of course it was an automatic recording playing. At that moment I hung up the phone. He called back I answered and asked him what did he want. He told me that I should hire a lawyer. I told him no. He said that there would be people at my door step tomorrow to go to court. At that moment I knew something was wrong. He began to become frustrated when I asked him questions. I asked him what was his company name, where was he calling form, what was his business license number. he said he was located in new york. I said then why are our you calling me from a san francisco number. I eventually hung up the phone. I then called this payday loan company that I filled out an application with on line a while back but never took out a loan. I asked them did they sale my information to someone. She then explained that this was a scam that was going on she told me that this is a company in india that will try to get money out of you. I then did some research on google and saw that this in fact was a scam. Then might have your last four of your social but they do not have the whole thing. They only have information that you have put out online. Beware that this is a scam. I called the Government today FTC and reported this. They told me that this has been a scam going on for a while and when the people call to just ignore them. She then gave me information that this you can not be arrested in the US for payday loans of debt owed. If this has happened to you please go to the FTC website or call them and report all the information that you know. I hope thatthis was able to help someone.

I got a call from Cathline Walker today.It is the same story as above reports.The only difference is that the number is 7188416490, and she said that she is from the department of coporate affairs, and that she is an attourney. Someone needs to make these scam artist stop.

I thought that I was the only one but I see that is not the case. I am also are getting those calls, They have threatned my life and my family. I AM GETTING THESE PHONE CALLS AS WELL. HOW CAN I STOP THIS?

I just got a phone call from these guys saying that I owed cpa money and that the fee was 5,484.87. The first guys name was Paul Miller and the second guys who was the first guys boss was Chris Lee. My mother and I have gottten tons of phone calls like that so we know from the beginning that it is a scam. The other thing is that I don't get loans off the internet. I wish they would just leave us alone. Hopefully they get arrested soon so these calls stop.

I am getting the same calls from these men. How do we stop them.

I just received a call from a guy claiming he was a lawyer that he is coming to my job on monday to arrest me because of a loan he said i got over the internet of $200.00 dollars. He called a few months ago and did the same thing and nothing happened.How do i get the calls to stop.

i just got same call from middle eastern man named "ALex Mark" and he gave me number of 718-841-6454 x.100 but came across called id at work as out of area. He called on my cell phone from number 415-994-0000. He also said i was being sued. Said i could give him 500 dollars today and balance in three weeks or he would see me in court tomorrow.

He made me angry said for me to enjoy myself at work and work hard because today was going to be my last day at work.

That is crazy because I just got a call @ work from the same guy: Chris Jones saying he's a supervisor over the legal department and I needed to get an attorney ASAP or pay $5000 dollars to them. He had my last 4 of my checking account and I thought...this doesnt sound right. He even started reading my rights as if I was being arrested!!!!! They said I would need to be in court tomorrow or be arrested for check fraud,theft & one more thing I couldnt understand that he said.  These people need to be caught and delt with!!! So sad that people are so desperate to use any type of scam to get your money!!!

OMG! Tammy my story is identical to yours. Just got a call @ work from someone i could barely understand  (fromt he same number you have listed) who put someone else on the phone as the supervisor. They stated that i had taken out a loan but failed to pay it back. They had the last 4 of my account number and wanted me to give them the rest. I have never heard of or applied for anything from Cash Partners of America. The amount was the same $ 5000 + dollars and I thught..this is a fraudulent call and hung up on them. They called me atleast 4 times. People be careful!

I got a call from a guy name James row saying the same thing that I owe $5000.00.  I ask for information about it they got rude with me and said that I was yelling at him I'll I did was ask for a email to show what he is saying was true and he said there is nothing to email then hung up the number I was told to call was 1-718-841-6454 it was regards to Cash Partners of America.  I turned it into my local PD who said it is fraud that said that they can't get you on criminal charges it is a civil issue.

I got the same call a hour ago...They called my job and I am off today so my supervisor and her boss called me. A man named Chris Jones done the same thing to me then he put his supervisor on the phone saying that I had 45 minutes to send information or I was going to court...I am going to report this information to the FBI...

I received a call while at work today claiming it was an urgent call. It was from a man claiming to be named David Jones. He had a very thick Middle Eastern accent and was hard to understand. He said he was from DCA Law Offices saying that I had taken out a payday loan with Cash Partners. He said that they had made several attempts to get ahold of me through my email about the matter. He said I owed $300. Then in the very next sentence, he said I owed $1,095 if I didn't get this resolved within the hour. He told me to have my attorney get in touch with him. When I told him I didn't have one, he said "Oh my God! Let me get my manager!" And I could tell it was the same guy on the phone the entire time. I have never taken out a payday loan, but looked into it about a year ago, but never signed up for one or had anything ever put in my bank account. So I left work, went straight to my bank to double check and make sure nothing had been deposited in my account from them within the past year. There hadn't. The number this guy gave me to call him back ( 646-580-3624) was an invalid number. So he called me back within an hour (the caller ID # was 0000) and I told him I checked with my bank and then he quickly said "You better get a lawyer" and then hung up on me. He called my workplace several times today trying to talk to me. I filled out a report with the sheriff and the FBI. This is a scam.

He just called me and left a message... He said his name was John Smith or something Smith.He had my last four digits and everything. I just hung the hell up becasue I didnt know what the hell they was talking about. I told him why wait 2 years to say something about a loan. This time the number was from a 516 number. His voicemail was very rude. I called and spoke with I guess an assistant. I am like I have NO CLUE what the hell going on. THIS S*** GOT TO BE A SCAM...I DIDNT GIVE HIM TIME TO TALK TO ME ABOUT ANYTHING!!!...He better not call my damn phone back I know that much. He in another damn state!!!!

These people with the thick Indian accents are scam artists trying to intimidate people and acquire personal info. They most likely are responding to an online search or database that you are on or most likely a payday loan data base or inquiry that you may be listed on through the number that you are being called. They are committing the crime of harassment and must be stopped.

Same story as the rest of you guys.  Telling me cops will come to my job.  Would not give me this supposed loan date or amount.  Had only the last 4 of my social and bank account number (which by the way would not have been the account I had when this supposed loan took place).  They didn't want me to interupt them only listen.  Also threatened that I would be arrested, my employer involved, black-listed, not able to buy a house, car, or any credit item and not be able to receive social security.  Plus be reported to the feds for check fraud, AS IF!!  Plus if that were the case, I would never receive another payday loan anywhere.  It would block you if you had an unpaid loan.  I know this because I managed a payday loan store for a year and a half!!  Same thing as all the other stories.  Non-english speaking, all indian, hindu, pakistani whatever.  Maybe we should all get together and file a class action if we can find them.  I am so pissed!!!

Got a call today from 636-655-66, it has been a while since they have called. The callers name was Greg Robinson (with a accent) Was told to contact him immediately, if not harm was coming my way by the end of the day. At first I was scared when i received the first call, but after reading about other people I'm not scared no more. these people are spinless and do no have nothing better to do, the best thing to do is ignore the call or cuss them and hang up. DO NOT let these people intimidate you, thats what they want.

It's all a scam, take it from someone who knows.  They all have the same accent and half the time you're talking to the exact same person.  I filed a police report and got on-line and notified the Attorney Genera's Office.  I also closed by checking account and opened all new information, I moved and I placed fraud alerts with the major credit reporting agencies.  These guys are ony looking for a small hole to worm their way in.  Once they have your personal information, they can do some serious damage.  Don't be fooled, tell them to go straight to hell!

I just received a call a few mins ago on my cell than at work.. After months of not getting their calls!
The number they called me was from 1-636-655-66 odd number.. they mentioned I was getting sued for $5k or so because of a loan with Cash Partners not being paid for... same allegations I have read on this very same site.  They asked me for my attorneys information.  
I was getting worried until I read all of this here...

What can be done to stop these calls???

I too, just got the same call about being sued by Cash Partners.  Some guy named Shay Adams claimed to be a restitution officer who wants me to fax a document for the total amount suggested in the suit.  When I asked him for documentation about this matter, he became a bit upset and stated to me  that he was now pursuing to legal matters.  He never stated that he could or would send me any written proof of his alleged claim.  The numbers I received today are:  1 516.833.3409 for Shay Adams.  What showed up on my caller ID was 877.888.3124 which was supposedly, Mr. Jones.
I shall be investigating this matter with the local police and banking institutions.

I have been got by these b*****ds for 300.00.  They had been calling me for almost a month, harrasing me at work and on my cell.  They used a few different numbers like 911, 0000, 1-850-778-1013.  I spoke with a Jon Davis, Daniel, Jenny, Jon Lee.  They called me and said that I recieved a loan earlier this year and it went into default.  In actuality, i had recieved a loan earlier this year but I could have sworn they were paid off.  My first initial call was from a guy named Daniel and he said they were going to take me to court for 586.00 but if I could pay 300.00 they would close out the case.  Well last week Jon Davis called and was very, very rude and said that I didnt need to worry about a payment and that he was going to just see me in court and that I would be going to jail.  Well, I didnt want trouble or to go to jail so I tried to set up arrangements with them.  I authorized them to take 100.00 off my prepaid visa last week.  i had heard nothing else from them and I was told i would get a confirmation call, etc.  I should have  thought something then when the lady was able to call me back and tell me the amount I had on my card.  Today, I go to check my bal on my card and should have had over 300.00 on there and ended up only having 153.00.  I went to look at my transaction and seen that broadway global master had taken 200.00 off.  I immediately got pissed, called walmart's card comp and asked if they could give me more info on this transaction and there was none.  I called BACK to the Department of Justice and Jenni asked why was I upset because my account was not closed and i dont have to worry about going to court.  I asked her who adv her to take the money and she said they didnt, the loan comp did and im like who is the loan comp and she tells me it was  US Payday Cash, I have never recieved a loan from them so from this point I was pissed and started investigating.  Walmart is working with me to get me the money back but its a waiting process.  These people are a freaking scam!! I am a single mother and do not have money to give away to scam artists so I will be reporting this to local police, FBI and whoever else I need to.  I feel sooo stupid for falling for this but I was trying to keep myself out of trouble.  I am just sick to my stomach and dont know what to do
