got a message from these guys...appears to be a scam...never did call back....but found a site that confirmed it is a scam...stay clear

I got a call from trhe Windows Technical Dept at Help & Support 4PC, tele no 020 8144 0938. I thought it was a scam and this was confirmed when I contacted Action Fraud on tele no 0300 123 2040 ( http://www.actionfraud.org.uk ). They stated that they get a considerable number of complaints about them and confirmed that it is a scam. If anybody has any doubts about companies I would advise them to contact Action Fraud first.

The security/anti-virus program we were using must not be intended for Microsoft products, because it kept causing problems. This company sent out a help and support 4pc, who checked out our system and then installed a new and different security program. Now, it all works together. No more downtime! This company is just great and we will use them again, when needed.

I received a cold call from Help & Support 4 PC and after I purchased a Tech support Silver Plan for one year I have not been able to contact them again and the number is no longer available. I think I have been scammed. Very upset! Was this legitimate?
