I HAVE A NEW PHONE AND THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING FOR THE PERSON WHO HAD THE NUMBER BEFORE ME AND ACTS LIKE I KNOW WHO THE PERSON IS.

This number called me, so looked it up and see your reports.  I have no debt.  I just blocked them so that they will get a message that my number is disconnected or no longer in service.  You can do this too - get Google Voice and put your cell phone, home phone, whatever phones in it.  Then block crank callers via computer.

I think you are far to high-handed. Some of us receive calls when we are not even the person they are trying to reach:
I have someone's old phone number that I used to know and who does not live around here anymore. My voice mail recording should be quite enough info to prove that. TELLING these folks that we do not know or where they are doesn't seem to help either.

And then there is the often unthought-of reason: someone give a bogus phone number to be reached at when it isn't even their number to give, or they provide an OLD phone number.

Please don't assume that everyone coming here to complain about this abuse aren't paying their bills. I don't have any student loans, so why would they be calling me? Oh. Because they are MISINFORMED. Yes, they have a job to do, but a one time "no, I do not have any ties to this person" justifies a repeat follow-up response of "NO MOTH******ER, I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON OR KNOW WHERE THE F*** THEY ARE STOP F****NG CALLING MY PHONE." It should suffice, but it doesn't. Which, makes them bottom-feeders thereafter. Let me recap for you:
Before being told sorry, don't know - people with jobs.
AFTER being told sorry, don't know more than once - bottom-feeders.
It isn't always about people not wanting to pay their bills, sometimes it's about misinformation.

This number has started calling me,  never leaves a message.   I do have a debt Thanks to the stupid hospital telling me i could pay it off then sending it to collections,  but I'm concerned to answer now since they sound abit suspect.  

If you have no.problems why in the hell were you searching this number or on this site for that number? Maybe you work there or are bored and need to get a life? If you have nothing valuable to add why don't you p****off or go make some more annoying phone calls for 316-942-0451.

Yes, they can say they are from a debt collection agency. Just can't say what it is for.

This # had called me every day for 3 weeks. I have answered twice. The first time they asked for my boyfriend, who doesn't have his own phone. This is my phone number they call. I told them the 2nd time to stop calling because of the frequency and they had obviously stolen my number off of something he had filled out. They said they only call once a day and asked if this was the wrong number. I said no, but please stop calling. Their response "We'll try again tomorrow." And hung up.

I've recently started receiving calls from 316-942-0451 and the called ID listing the name of the company as KC Counselors I.  I've never answered the calls nor has anyone left a message.  Regardless to what their intents are, the name of the company seems decieving especially if they are a debt collection agency.  If it sounds like a FISH, swims like a FISH and smells like a FISH, guess what????  It's a FISH!

This number 1 (316) 942-2677 is a cell phone.  A cell phone number for a local salon owner. She has had this number for 5years now. So I highly doubt she has called anyone

They call me harassing over a bill that was paid 5 years ago and errantly sent to collections. I have receipts and letters from doctors office that the bill was paid. So maybe you should grow up. this company is not just going after people who don't pay, they erroneously go after others as well.

I had the same thing happen. A lot of times, they're calling for the individual that had your number before you got it. I just had to inform them they had the wrong number and they would stop calling.

So, obviously you are the rude lady everyone complains about who is calling from this number.  You need to get a real job!  You have been calling my dad's phone daily and he died 4 months ago!  There is no way for him to pay the hospital and ambulance bill incurred the day he was found dead outside his apt, so stop calling  or I will SNAP!  Ever watch the show? You could sue them for harassment.

I have been receiving calls  from this number daily but they never leave a message  and i don't pick up calls unless i know the number. Today they called and it came across like it was my son calling. It was his
name and ringtone but their number. I picked up asked who it was but they kept asking if it was me until i said yes then they put me on hold. I finally hung up after being on hold for a minute.

I just saved this number in my phone so I know I can ignore it.  I simply NEVER answer calls from debt collectors.  Yes, I've had to deal with these (KCI) vermin before.  They are evil SOB's to put it nicely.  

My MO is, you leave me a message, if I choose, I'll call you back.  If you don't leave me a message, I'LL NEVER call you.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize PERIOD!

Guess what jerk i get calls every day from people like you about debts that have been resolved for 5 years every so often somone like you calls and tries to scare me into paying somthing i dont owe or a cell phone breach of contract from when i was 12 huh thats funny but maybe when that happens the person on the phone dosent know they are a tool to lie steal and cheat. yeah, this number calls me everyday. of course i dont answer numbers i dont know so i expect them to leave me a message so i know who it is and i can call them back when i have a better idea of who i would be dealing with. Not completely true. While the Feds have basic laws, each state has added requirements and as far as I know both Nebraska and Kansas say it's a no-no to call on Sundays. Heck I had a company based out of KCMO that didn't know KCKS laws and they are only seperated by a river.

I am wondering why you are even on this web site if you didn't get a call from this number. You MUST be one of the wonderful "minimum wage" employees that are responsible for some of the calls. Why else would you defend them? Some of the people here are actually honest, hard working, tax paying citizens that may have simply fell on hard times due to the economic crunch. I did notice that one of the other comments suggested, why not try to also communicate with a letter that may explain who you are and what you want. Your employers are the "TICS" on society. They buy debt and then resort to tactics, such as the people you are defending. How about you get a REAL JOB and then have some type of suprise medical issue, be off work for a few weeks, and see just how easy it is to get behind. Then, and probably only then, you might have a clue!

yeah that is some horse s***! I'm a repo man and I make a great living! yes i take things from people, but to call them over and over is b***s*** and you know it. I get called every name in the book! Heard it all and have been assaulted multiple times,but in the end i get what I'm looking for! For you to tell people to man up and take the phone call is collector mentality and you called them a debtor which of course they are, but you label them on here like they are cattle. I'm not saying I'm a perfect credit kinda guy either. But when you call people so many times a day or over a week it would get a lil old and I can't say I blame people for being pissed! As well as all the scams that are going around I wouldn't give anybody any info over the phone that I have no clue who they are.

I've been getting calls from this number as well, every once in a while they'll leave a message but when I listen to it, it sound like its glitching. I would really like 4 this person to stop calling me.

I am deaf.. I got a call through VRS on my Video Phone from the phone numbers 316-942-0451 on June 10 at 10;05  a.m.and the caller asked me if this is Esther Morris and when I said yes ..The person hanged up without saying anything..No message..
