I got a call also but the number is a little different (317) 215-5328...It was a recording stating that my credit card had be locked and to press a number?? It was hard to understand everything they said.. I looked the number up to get the name of the company...Nuvox Communication of indiana.....I blocked the number

received call @0730 today.  Didn't get to phone in time to answer.  No message.

At 6:54PM on 9/15/2011   I too got a call from 317-215-5321 with the poor quality female voice telling me my CHASE Credit card had been stolen.  This is a landline based in Indianapolis, IN.  I called the Osceola County, Florida Sheriff's Department and reported it.

Claimed my non-existant Debit card with Bank of American Fork was compromised.  Never banked there.  Definitely a SCAM!

Recorded fishing scam.  Claimed my debit card was compromised from a Credit Union I don't have an account with.

I also got a call, telling me my visa card from my bank had a lock on it. Of course this is a scam. No bank will call you and tell you this by recording, and/or ask for any such information. They called on my cell phone, which my bank does not have the number. These people got your number from something you ordered online, (at least that is one way they get numbers) never order from an unsecure site.
Never give banking information over phone from a phone call.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone telling me my debit card had been lost from a local bank (which I do not even have an account with), so I figured it was fraudulent.

I regularly receive calls about my Chase debit card. I closed my Chase account 7 years ago.

I did but nobody answers

Computer voice (female) stating it's a call from Wells Fargo - about "your debit card" - I tried to play with it for a little while trying to break through the system with a phony last 4 of SS# and dummy 16 digit card number and the computer recognized the phony card number and kept asking for it 3 times before hanging up.  I'm calling the feds with the number.

I've been receiving these calls from different #s for over a month now, claiming to be Wells Fargo notifying me that my debit card has been deactivated, and to dial 1 to reactivate it.
I haven't banked with Wells Fargo in years...

Just got a call from this # on my cell phone saying my Wells Fargo card had been compromised 11:40pm - it is a scam, don't have a card with them. I work in the banking word and we would NEVER call and request peoples card #'s.  My husband got a call the other night on his cell and we also got a call on our house phone.

My call was claimng my Wells Fargo debit card is to be on hold which i don't have, called wells fargo and there is a scam out there for this

Just got a call...nothing like being woken up at 5am for a scam.  I'm super annoyed though.  Glad I looked up the number before trying to call back.

Got a call on my cell phone.  Didn't answer.  Didn't leave a message.

Got an automated message from "wells fargo" saying my debit card was temporarily blocked due to billing something or other.  I hung up and called wells directly and checked my bank account and that was a big no.  This call was a FRAUD/SCAM.

just received call stating it was from Wells Fargo and debit card had problems.  called # back and it says 'all circuits are busy'.  read in newspaper the other day fraudulant calls are being made on behalf of wells fargo bank (2nd time now that ive received a call-1st time, no number showed up);

a recorded message telling card compromised bad quality the recording didnt even finish what it was saying about who to contact.

Idiots keep calling my cell and I keep ignoring them.  I don't know anyone in central Indiana.

I received one call on the 15th and another today...message states my Wells Fargo Debit card has been inactivated?? Press 1 to reactivate. I did not press 1 just hung up.

glad to see this message board to verify that the call i recieved was a scam like i suspected... very sneaky, calling people who may or may not have a wells fargo account. who does this sort of thing? seriously.

Got a call from an animated recording asking if i wanted to reactive my debit card if so to press 1. I have had my card info abused in the past I know my bank would not use animated recording so I hung up and called my bank they confirmed that there is a scam going on and not to answer the question just to hang up. So PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS HANG UP CALL YOUR BANK INSTEAD. if you have answered the questions call your bank put a stop on your account and get a new card.

I just received a similar call from 317-215-5321 on my work cell phone concerning a Wells Fargo Debit Visa card being locked.

I do no banking with Wells Fargo.

It said to press 1 to be transferred to the 24hr security department.

I did not press 1 but held on the line, and it disconnected.

I Googled the number and found this message board.

Beware of scammers --- they're out there.

Just got a call from this number.  Obviously fraud.  Typed in a bunch of numbers and it didn't take them.  Wish these scams would go away.

They said it was my Wells Fargo Account. Like many of the people on here, I do not have Wells Fargo. I have heard of these scams getting more and more frequent. I hope no one enters there information.

Just got a phone call from this number saying my Wells Fargo Visa Debit was stolen. Obviously it is in my purse next to me so I hung up and checked my Wells Fargo account and the messages that Wells Fargo has sent me. There was nothing about my debit card- stolen or not. The phone call was definitely fraudulent.
