I keep my cell phone number private...or so I thought. How did these scammers get my number?

I answered the phone and received same automated system about.card services...   EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT PRESS 1......  Many scams to steal your identity or charge your phone a huge fee.

I received a call from this number but I didnt not answer nor did they leave a message. I am on the "Do Not Call" list so I am not sure what they want.

This number called me before noon on my cell phone. Not recognized, I let voice mail take the call. No message was left.

Found out this a SCAM

I blocked this number on my wireless website on the option tab.

I was just called by this number at 10:47am PST, went to voicemail with no message left. Thanks to all who have posted comments...I wont bother calling back.

This number called this morning. No voicemail. From what I gather, it's a scam number trying to steal card numbers and/or identities. Thank you previous posts for also verifying this!

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone as well on my land line.  So annoying.  Do not call registry?????

got call from this #. since I didn't recognize the #, I didn't answer. I checked posts about this # and it looks like a CC scammer out to rip people off. recommend giving them a false CC #, then reporting to PD for followup and prosecution.

They made two consecutive calls. Never pick up on an unknown caller. They will leave a message if it's important.

This number called my number twice. This seems to be a new strategy from these mofos to make it seem like a call coming from someone i know. Never pick up on an unknown caller. If it's important, they will leave a message. Do the same.

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards   BUT   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Received a call from this (318)-245-7789 at 1301, 12/6/2013. Don't know the number, I don't pick it up. If it's important.... they're leave a message. No message

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Got an unsolicited call to lower credit card interest rates.  I am on the do not call list.

Called but no message.  Sounds like the usual scams from the comments above. Shut these idiots down!

Scam call. I pressed 1 out of curiosity. They asked if i was calling about lowering my interest rate. i said yes but i don't own a credit card that i am aware of and the call dropped hung up. I called it back and got some old lady's voicemail. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Got a call from this number claiming it was card holder services and to press 1 to lower my interest rate.  Did not say which company.  I pressed 1 out of curiosity.  The woman who answered said she was with card services.  I asked which company and she said they work with Visa, Mastercard & discover.  I asked if it was telemarketing and she said no and asked which card I had.  I said I wanted to to tell me who she was calling for so I can verify she had the right number.  She said she looked me up in her system and repeated back my phone number.  I asked her to give me my name and she was unable to.  This is a scam.  Do not give them any info.

answered the call, got the same automated message. I hit #1 and was transferred to a man who asked if I was calling to lower my interest rates. When I told him I didn't have an account and I wanted my number removed from their calling list, he hung up on me.
