15 times a day?????

These people are the fraternal order of police and sheriff in Louisiana I believe. They called and said I was a loyal supporter and I never have...weird.

I get calls from this # sev. times a day. whether I pick up or let the machine get it , I get first a dial tone and then the message: "the # you called cannot be completed as dialed......"
I don't want to change my phone # but I might have to. All the ways you can block a call, apparently, you have to pay: here's another scam and a way for others to make money !! Anything else I can do ?? For free ??? Any suggestion ??

I have been receiving numorous calls from this number for the past week. Many times a day. It is starting to get very annoying.

I was able to find out more about this organization. The calls are coming from Louisiana Fraternal Order Of Police Fundraising Center.

I am on the national do not call registry. In turn I tiled a complaint against the number 318-487-4470.

If your number is on the do not call list please file a complaint against this organization.

I got a call from them yesterday, and maybe because am forener and I dont speak very good english, they talk to me, and they wanted my Visa or master card #, offcourse i reject to give them the number. they told me that they want 25 or 35 dollars for louisiana state police department, but i didnt trust them.

It is from the louisiana fraternal order of police. Took about 20 phone calls for someone to answer me but finaly a real person was on the phone when I answered it and it was the FOP wanting money donations..

They just called me and hang up.  Their had been several calls like that for weeks.  I am sick of it, so I google it up and came up with this site.  I will block the number.  I don't get it what is Lousisana Fate?

Well, I am also receiving these calls.....FOR WEEKS! I tried to do *60 (call block) however it says "sorry, this number could not be added to your list"! I also registered for donotcall.gov. Isn't it against the law for me to still receive calls from this organization after my number is registered with donotcall? I will try to call donotcall and see what happens. Will post later.

Same problem they called my house seven times today.  I guess i will block the number that will take care of that.

I just got the same call from that number.  I googled the number and came across this website.  When I said hello they didn't say anything.  Weird.

Getting the same calls too. Finally got fed up and did a *60 and added their number to my call block list.

I keep getting calls from this #: 318-487-4470. Sometimes it is several times a day. they're harrassing me. Whether I pick up or let the machine get it: they hang up.
They've been calling me for months.
What can we do ?? A lot of people seem to have the same pbs and the same calls from this #. There has to be smthg we can do !!!!

I waited a long time to see if it was a recording. Finally I said "hello", and it hung up without saying anything.

When someone calls from this number, they don't even say anything. All they do is hang up.

It was a non-profit organization. I asked to be put on their do not call list. Will see.
