They keep calling n no message

Guess what, they got your info from somewhere.  Maybe your outrage could be better directed at the uncaring dirtbag company that sold them the account in the 1st place.  Just because a company is big or you've done business with them regularly, doesn't mean they arent crooks.  Just look at the dirty activities of HSBC Bank, Bank of America, and others.  

(Really?! Specially building drive-through night deposit boxes large enough to hold the boxes of cash being money-laundered on a regular basis.)

CBE is not a valid agency. You people claimed I owed a debt which was a I NEVER OWED. You people tried to Scam me out of $487. I thoroughly proved it was not a legitimate debt.

Get calls every morning beginning at 8:15 and throughout the day.  They do not leave a message.  If they cannot leave a message identifying themselves and requesting a call back, then they should stop calling.

Really???  I so happens that I am a lawyer and I KNOW THIS DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!!!!  You try scaring people.... ignorant people..... unfortunately we all know about your scheme!

Received numerous calls, they never leave a message. I finally answered and they asked for me by name. Then they asked me to verify my address and social. I asked who was calling and what it was in regards to. They said they couldn't discuss this private matter until I verified my address and social. I told them I couldn't verify my personal information until they told me who they were and why they were calling. This back and forth seriously went on for 5 minutes! The guy was getting pissed and was really rude. Finally told them to not call my number and if they really had any business to discuss to send it in writing. They guy yelled at me that our business was concluded and hung up. That was fun!

That's the best answer in all 13-14 pages of responses that I have seen here so far! Lol

That's a lie!!!! When you file bankruptcy and CBE was named in the court filing, the law states that they CANNOT contact you EVER again about that bill....you either never filed for bankruptcy or you did and you are lying

If this is true you have a great case against them even if you do owe a dept. Get in contact with a good lawyer and have them review your case. What they are doing is completely illegal and you can make them pay big time.

Collectors wish we would collect theirs  too!!!!  tks it took me time to settle my temper for calls at home i simply hear the phone ring and ignore ,i must have got used to this now and my endroline is cool. some day i may invent a call back caller to them and ring ears off!!!! hmmm not a bad idea anyone have a system let us know we may input the never  ending harrassing calls in and mask ours their gona be going crazy as we are.I don't see why not as nothing i see has being done their is no choice.but to pasify this calls.

I am on the no call list.  I am getting these calls 2-4 times a day.  I do not answer.  I am trying to figure out how to get this stopped.

Never pay a collection agency!!! Go to Bud Hibbs.com and get a cease and desist letter. Send it to the collection agency and the creditor. Make arrangements to pay the creditor. Be prepared to follow through with an attorney if they keep contacting you. Bud Hibbs has all the legal info you need and will answer questions if you email them.

They call and call and call. Leaving a recordeding message.

CBE is a legitimate agency. Their collectors don't follow fdcpa, which is illegal, but tthr company itself is valid. I knew someone who worked for them and they were told to always be in the "grey" area- if it's not in black and white and strictly prohibited by law, they will use it. They will find a way to harass you. They will call your neighbors, they will call your place of employment. They are told to do whatever it takes but to just not get caught. They bonus off of dollars collected. They will violate every aspect of fdcpa, especially around the holidays when the collectors want their bonus. The company encourages it and they are bottom feeders.also- if they don't leave a message, they will say they didn't contact you, so they just keep calling and calling and calling.

They call me every day also.  When they called this morning I told them that Lynn passed away.

I just got a call from this company tonight.  The first call the guy hung up.  I thought that I recognized the number as being my son's friend...rude awakening there.  When I called back they kept asking for my address & would not tell me who they were calling on behalf of.  I told her that I would not give any personal information before I knew who she was calling for.  She refused and so did her "supervisor".  Sorry but I am not handing out my info so that you can take it and run.  Not happening here.  I work in a call center myself so I know.  Not on the phones myself, but I do now what can be given & what can't and the customer is calling us.  We are NOT calling out to them.

BTW...love all the extra education I am getting out on this site tonight.  Glad I am taking the time to read the posts!

Never ever give them a credit card number over the phone or the next thing you know someone is getting a 72" HD TV from www.bestbuy.com on line then you have file a claim for fraud. I have heard this happening often.

Why do i get the feeling you are a CBE SHILL? CBE is a company that buys out long lost accounts that have already been paid off or not worth the time and effort it cost the other companies to pursue it. They buy it for pennies on the dollar and then make you a deal that if you pay now it will only cost you 1/3 of what you supposedly owe. So if they say you owe $1000 and pay them $333 right away they are making money on money you don't owe. Then they have the 4 payment method where you make 4 payments of $125 they call it even so now they not only get the original $333 that asked for but an additional $167 that goes right in to their companies profits.

BTW in almost all case where an account is sent out for collections the original party is no longer in the loop and they refer you to the collections agency. Do your homework

No one has said that BE is a fraudulent company. What has been said is that their business ethics are lower then dog poop. No one calls me at 8:02 AM when the law says they can not call till after 9 AM and not after 6 PM Mon-Fri
