I find it difficult to believe that I will make a lot of money working in an organization that lacks the professionalism to clearly identify themselves in a voice message. Thankfully, through this site I found enough about Mr. Sturm to decide against returning a call. Between the lack of professionalism in voice mail, to his movements and poorly fitted suit on the corporate video posted on http://sfglife.com/testimonials-public.html. I'm guessing this is your average sales pyramid scheme.
I'm not saying this isn't an opportunity for everyone, but it is defiantly not for me. I require a sales organization, even those without a base salary to present themselves in a professional manner. That goes for your telephone presence as well as your attire. If I were Mr. Sturm I would ask for that video to be removed until I was presentable. Good luck to those that choose this path.

I just got a call from this company. He said that he found my resume on Career Builder as well. He asked me what my current situation was and why I am looking for a position. How dumb is that.

Wow, so rude and didn't answer who his company is or what he does.....what a scammer and I reported him to BBB and Careerbuilder!

Thank you all for saving me the trouble of calling him back. The vague voicemail (no company/recruiting agency mentioned) was a red flag. A quick Google search leading to this site confirmed it. Looks like a pyramid scheme.

I looked him up on the Iowa Court's page and he has a massive record, their were too many to go through

Scott mentioned he found my resume on Careerbuilder. He then interrogated me on my current, past, and future employment information. After responding to his questions with broad answers, he said the position he had is in sales and wouldn't be a fit, then hung up.

Nice use of proper writing capabilities and I am guessing you're Scott the way you put yourself out there. Dude, you suck at what you're doing.........I suggest putting your resume on CareerBuilder and see how far it gets you. LOL You're a joke and the so-called morons that stick up for you, maybe you should start up a business and see the success that follows.
Good luck. LOL
Not as dumb as you think 2013-05-22 02:52:59 Unknown
If you are going to call and represent an employer that found your info on CareerBuilder than do so professionally. This guy gives nothing but his name and says, "I found you on CareerBuilder. If you're still interested in a job, call me."
What is the first alarm is that he is calling from a cell. Then he doesn't say what company he is representing or the position he is seeking to fill. HUGE RED FLAGS.
I get many responses in regards to my resume on CareerBuilder and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, the employers identify themselves, their company, what job they are seeking to fill and usually why they feel I'd make a good fit.
duh 2013-05-22 02:47:18 Unknown
What's funny is you do not explain the outcome. I am guessing you are Scott or someone related to him to say something nice. Yet you never say if you're employed or how your call truly went. If I had to guess I would say you are Scott, a friend, family, or paid spokesman. Regardless, same on you for misleading people.
I too got a call just like everyone else saying, "He my resume on career builder and I if I needed a job to call him." I get a lot of responses from career builder and he is the only one to not give his job title, company name and position he is looking to fill.
I didn't bother calling him. True employers seeking employment do not call from cell numbers and they do go into detail on the position they wish to fill and information regarding it.
Stay silent and this scum wins....speak out and he will stop sooner or later.

You people are comical! Im not sure what exactly you think your "exploiting" but clearly anyone who isnt competent enough to answer a simple question doesnt deserve to learn about the position and obviously hes not interested in giving you the time of day either! Sounds to me like you people just dont know HOW to answer the questions he is asking and thats why you fire back with your own questions lol I get it though your upset hes not interested in you so you come on here thinking its going to affect his business in any kinda way lol Good luck in your job search!

This guy is a life insurance salesman out of cedar repaids - don't fall for it!! If I was Scott, I'd google my name to see what's out there about me - might want to try a different approach for guinea pigs you fool!
TC 2013-04-18 17:28:10 Unknown
This is almost comical. A legitimate recruiter would tell you what company he is calling from...when you ask, he hangs up! Can't wait to exploit this guy...hun, I'm not unemployed and even if I was, I wouldn't give this guy the time of day.
TC 2013-04-18 17:26:29 Unknown
This guy is a fraud.
No legitimate person looking for a qualified candidate would not tell you who he is with and what he's calling about. I will be exploit him every I can just like this forum has done. Diane....you obviously know this guy. :)
Diane 2013-03-25 17:49:11 Unknown
I guess I dont know what kind of questions he asked you..but all he asked me was why I was currently looking for a job and if there was anything specific I was looking for..im not sure why answering any of those questions would be considered giving out personal information?? Its not like he asked for your social security number lol get it together people!!
Diane 2013-03-25 17:31:47 Unknown
I recieved a called from Scott as well, however I answered his questions and our conversation went quite well, and I recieved all the information about the position that I needed...You'd think that if your resume is on career builder and someone calls you to find out more about you then you would be polite and answer the questions..if im not mistaken were the unemployed ones..not him..just a thought...its not a scam, but because you think he needs to answer your questions first for some reason you dont get the chance to learn about the position...what's funny is that you can't answer VERY SIMPLE questions but yet you can search for his number and write a complaint..no wonder your still unemployed!

This guy is a rude b****ead!
Scott said he found my resume on Careerbuilder and began asking questions. No introduction. Nothing.
He refused to identify his company, his intentions or why he was calling me. When I persisted... he hung up. I waited a few minutes because I knew someone of his intellect would forget my number, he answered but soon recognized my voice [no big deal, my dog does too]. Hung up again.
Motherbleeper!

Hi All,
I also received a very rude call from a guy that he had seen my resume posted on careerbuilder.com. He also started quizzing me about what kind of position I was seeking, why I left my least job, etc., without ever identifying himself or his company. I asked him who he was and, still without identifying himself, told me it was a sales position of some kind and he didn't feel that my background was right and hung up.
What he didn't realize is that I am an investigating queen. His name is Scott Hache from Platinum Synergy Group. He is the owner. ca.linkedin.com/pub/scott-hache/7/b20/b5a

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer but called back and he answered as "Scott". He asked if I was still interested in a position. I said maybe and asked who he was with. He asked what my situation was first and I said I assumed he was a recruiter and had found my resume online. He told me it wasn't going to work out and hung up. Sketchy

I received a call from Scott saying the same exact thing about viewing my resume on Careerbuilder.com. I typed the number into google search engine and I see that he is full of it. Thanks for posting the information. Maybe, we can help others by posting.

I got a call, and the guy left a message (didn't give his name), and said that he found my resume on career builder. He didn't give any real information on the voicemail, so I didn't call him back.

a few seconds agoThis just happened to me and i was a bit miffed . He is very unprofessional and obviously has a chip on his shoulder ,. He never identified who or what company he was affilated with, he seemed to be bother by me asking .. I asked specifically , What is the nature of your business and what is your companies name..
That was an immediate red flag .. The telephone number in question. 1-319-560-4313. If you would like to discuss further please do not hesitate to reach out.. ...
