im also on the DNC list....why do these calls continue! I don't understand and should be stopped.
Robert Rinell 2013-06-19 00:46:35 Telemarketer
Tese people call me constantly about "My Credit". I have asked them several times to stop calling and they continue to call.

Subhuman scammer trying to get your credit card number, so they can steal your money.
AmandaJ 2013-06-17 19:17:33 Unknown
If you really think that is going to stop them, you need help.
AmandaJ 2013-06-17 19:15:50 Unknown
The DNC list does no good for these people since they are not telemarketers. They are scam artists. They call using number scramblers, so when you try to call back, you get a message that the number is disconnected. EVERY TIME you talk to a live person, if you don't fall for their BS, they will hang up on you...if they don't verbally abuse you first. I am unemployed, so I answer every call, as it may be a potential job. When I get a live person, I simply say "get a real job, loser" and hang up. No point stressing over these calls since there is nothing we can do to stop them.

I can't agree more. Everybody knows we have the best government that money can buy, ESPECILLY IN NY. I like to blast them with air horns. At the very least, we can deafen them.

my suggestion is to keep a copy of this (NSFW): http://pastebin.com/gKS6WB5A by your phone and read it to them when they call. if enough people start doing it, they'll all quit after a while.

As it was posted earlier, the card service scammers are mainly drug addicts, felons, or both, who prey mostly on the elderly. We cannot expect much of these types of lowlifes, but as bothersome as they are, the decent people of society can be thankful we don't have to live the miserable lives they themselves caused. Hopefully, as they get older,(which most of the addicts seldom do) these disgusting creatures will also be cheated by a younger group of scammers to the point where they must live on the streets or in the woods.

got a call, no one there. robo call. probably had fantastic reasons why i should give them my credit info! getting these every morning lately.
Zack 2013-06-14 16:40:53 Unknown
Sophia,
Never answer these calls, and NEVER press 1 to be connected. Once you engage on the call, your number continues to be rotated through the lists. Best thing to do is to never answer. I've been getting these calls for years as well, have reported several of the numbers to the FCC, but these scammers use a pool of numbers that makes it difficult to track. But the more I would engage on the call, the more calls I would receive in the end. Best thing you can do is assign the number to a contact in your phone book as "telemarketer" and assign a custom ringtone of nothing so that you never hear it.

Are the people who do this even human? You gotta be the scum of the earth; like literally have no soul to make this your living. Spawns of the devil...Probably molested when they were kids or something; all these scammers and telemarketers...

I have stayed on the line and have told the individual answering that I am not interested in their "offer." I have successfully blocked them, but when my block expires, here they come again. They need to be prosecuted for violation of both state and federal law since I am on the "do not call" list.

2nd call in 2 days from this scam number. Called at least once a day from others as well. All with the same recording about being from "credit card services"

I just received a call from this number about an offer to lower my credit card rates. When they answer I ask to be removed from their calling list and they hang up. I wish someone could stop them from making these calls.

I KEEP GETTING THESE CALLS AND FOR MY MORTGAGE REFI...I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD OR OWN A HOUSE...NICE TRY THOUGH.
anonymous 2013-06-13 17:58:41 Unknown
stop calling 320-548-8470. i'm in the do not call list, as most other people you have called. this caller called me few hours after another scam caller called. i didn't answer both. for those answering these scam calls don't press numbers when it says to. your phone might get charged by just pressing the numbers.

This is an illegal scammer, do-not-call violator. I added it to my "do not ring" list. The recording starts out with a reference to the law. If the government is able to track all telephone calls, why can't it track these people down? One day we will hear how a private citizen tracked them down - and blew up everybody who works there.! I would be very happy if that happened! :)
h20sue 2013-06-13 16:37:16 Unknown
Well, this is about the third or fourth time these folks have called. I've now started doing something that eleviates having to look at my phone or worry about calls I may be missing.
I saved the number under "scammer", and I defaulted the ringer to "no ring". This way I'm not bothered, and I know it a scam call. Sooner or later they will give up. Obviously The DNC center is overwhelmed with crooks and scammers calling, so it's time to fight fire with fire.
Amercian's are bombarded with criminals because our government will not except the fact the borders should have been closed (on 9/11). We have terriost living among us, and we're not stupid! If the FCC can't handle these weird phone calls, then it's time to take action on our own. Just list the calls under scammer, and assign a "no ring". If it's important, they will leave a message. If they happen to be bill collectors, wish them GOOD LUCK, as most of us are doing without, and not depending on welfare or our government. At least, descent hardworking folks! We, the people, who never had children are having to pay for schools, and everything else, and it's not right. Where are our rights?
As a small business owner, I am working relentlessly, and I don't have time for the nonsense. I do everything possible to keep up with bills, but the costs of food, medicine, gas, taxes, etc is just overwhelming! I have no doubt that Obama's problems of continuing to print money is ruining this country. The welfare scams are about to catch up with him, as the stock market is about to slide into the ocean. The country is broke so face it folks, times are going to be much more difficult, including more harrassing phone calls.
Chris 2013-06-13 15:59:50 Unknown
I think that not answering these calls has helped reduce the number of calls. It is a shame the government does nothing to stop these ripoff artist.
Christy 2013-06-13 15:26:04 Unknown
Called, woke me up. Having an East Coast number on the West Coast is irritating when it comes to these illegal scammers. At least it leads me to believe these scammers obviously don't have my location info, just my phone number.
FWIW, the fact that these calls have escalated to sexual harassment is ridiculous - that man should be held accountable for his actions, not be getting paid to scam people and harass women.
DC 2013-06-13 15:01:13 Unknown
i ignored the call. no voicemail

do not call registry must not work for these people..they call my pre-paid phone...

I got a call from this number among others. 320-548-8470. They said they were "Consumer Law". I also have no credit cards and I have been on the "Do not call list" for years and it makes no difference at all. I get live people and robo calls daily and sometimes as late as 10pm. Drives me nuts. I have a personal cell and a work cell and the work cell is an emergency line for after hours service so I answer it by force of habit. I ask them daily what their emergency is when they finish their intro and they always hang up. Every day with this crap. Sometimes during the day I will be elbow deep in a repair and answer the cell to find a freakin robo call asking me to hold till they come on the line. What the f*** is that.

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!
Tom 2013-06-12 20:33:47 Unknown
The callers are the drug-addicted "card service" scammers who pretend to be associated with our credit card companies in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People who have been fooled into giving these lowlifes their credit card number have suffered severe financial losses. Be aware of these scum, and warn others, before they are cheated!
Concerned Citizen 2013-06-12 20:20:04 Telemarketer
"Cardholder services" using a spoofed number. Never, EVER "PRESS 1" to be removed. That let's the auto dialer know that it is a legitimate working phone number.
I string them along for a while , then I just hang up in the middle of the call like we "accidentally" got disconnected.
Paul Mullen 2013-06-12 16:36:34 Telemarketer
I suspect the caller-id is spoofed, which is why calling the number back won't help. They are calling numbers at random, clearly are a scam of some sort: I suspect that they are just trying to collect credit card numbers.
