Many calls recently have come from CA, NA, MO, NY, regarding a Senior Alert service that want to sell/give us protection in case of a medical need or fall.  The call Dec. 12th, 2013 wanted to deliver the Senior Alert System at no cost and indicated that someone had included our name because of a recent fall that had not happened.  We have caller ID and had placed our name on the National call Registry.  The Phone Id on our phone will say, " Caller Not Provided."  MANY MORE CALLS HAVE RECENTLY COME, THESE ARE SINCE NOV. 26TH, 2013.

Besides Ran Barnea, another key person involved in these phony debt management companies is Dan Post.  These companies (e.g., American Debt Negotiators, BMV Debt Management Corporation, American Credit Counselors, The Consumer Law Group) are responsible for a lot of the Card Member Services Robocalls from spoofed numbers. The Missouri and Florida Attorneys General are suing these individuals and companies, among others.  If you feel Mr. Post should put a stop to this abuse of the Do Not Call Registry, I suggest calling him at home at 561-451-2009 in the evening.  His wife Shari, also listed in the corproation filings for some entities, will answer the phone.  I am sure she would be happy to convey your messages.

Sounds like a road trip to Florida to me. The addresses above are all close together. A dozen "Retired" Marines coming in the front door, a destroyed telephone switching system as well as the removal of all the computer equipment in the offices. Sounds about right. The information on the computers would put someone behind bars. I think the ring leaders need a little alone time in lockup with their own "Bubba". That would pay them back for the millions of phone calls they make to harass the American public. Bet they learn what it is like to be "screwed" with.

They probably paid off the phone company. Crooks exist everywhere.

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

I find that I am getting great enjoyment by pressing 1 and talking to one of their "reps". I have a phony name, credit card number, and security code that I use. The only legitimate number that I give them is the customer service number from a credit card that I no longer use since the card raised my rates.
I try to ask the criminals as many questions as possibe to keep them on the phone as long as I can. The scammers seem to get upset once they finally figure out that THEY are getting scammed. I guess they think their time is more valuable than mine.

The guys behind this scam have a slew of corporations, many of them defunct. I searched using the name ?American Debt Negotiators? and found the name of the Registered Representative was a guy named RAN BARNEA, aca RAN DAVID BARNEA, aca DAVID R BARNEA. He is also listed as the president of a whole slew of other active corporations. Another guy is DANIEL T. POST. This stuff is all public record. Contact your cell provider.  Most have a way to block a few numbers.

Or put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

Does anyone know of a way to block calls to cell phones?

Glad I don't have an answering machine!!!  When I see these calls on my ID, they are ignored.  I am not about to answer these stupid people or their machine!!!!  When will they get a life?????

They said that they were credit card services calling at 9:30 at night. It was taped.
I want to be taken off that list.  But they keep bothering us.

I just filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call List. So hopefully they will do something. I at least feel a little better. We will see if the phone calls continue. For those of you who asked to be removed off the call list and even tho they hung up on you did the calls continue?

This number calls my house all the time. Today they called me twice. They call at all hours and all days of the week. I finally got mad and decided I was going to talk someone and get off the call list. Well as soon as I ask to be removed I was hung up on. Now I am MAD! I to am on the no call list. I am decided to google the number and see what I could do. I am glad I found others in this situation but I hate that we are helpless! We have to be able to protect ourselves and others from these SCAMMERS!!!!!

They just called me. I don't pick up unless I know who is calling. It's the only way to get these people to stop. And sometimes it takes a while. If you don't pick up, eventually they'll drop your number.

The "Do Not Call" list is kind of a joke, isn't it?

This number came over on caller ID as V0524142528091953.  Anyone know what that means???? The recording is a loud woman stating to press 3 if I no longer wish to receive such offers.  HA HA! I have gone to my local state Attorney General's office.  It was recently in the paper that they've been flooded with inquiries so I believe they will get involved with legislation in getting changes made to the DCNR.  I've been saying for a long time that the telephone companies need to be heavily fined for providing scammers, marketeer and ID thieves the technology to harass consumers. Please contact your local SAG and media. It can't hurt and....  It's election year!

Does not leave their company name or phone number.  Left a message stating they can lower credit card interest rate to 6.9%

Partial message was left on my answering machine saying something about lowering interest rates to 6.99%. What? Are you crazy? 6.99%? I think not. More like 0.00%, then you can talk to me.
I still don't know what interest rate they're talking about. Auto? Home? Credit card? Tell me. No. Nevermind. Don't ever call again.

We all know that these calls are total scams. Why do we bother to report the number? The Govt does nothing as they are too busy hustling guns into Mexico or writing absurd regulations designed to cost American businesses millions.
Heres what I have found to be the best solution:
I bought a gas pressurized air horn. I keep it next to my phone. When they call, I press the number to talk with a live ( I am sure their mother is proud of them ) operator.
As soon as they answer and say one word . . .

regarding lowering interest rates...  2nd time they have called me now from Cocoa FL.  Somebody  sold my land line number seeing I'm unlisted Grr!

Did the same thing. Gave me a sense of power and satisfaction. Will do it again. Caller Beware. It does no good to report them. Nothing gets done. Tried that route. Total waste of time.

They called me and told me to make sure my I see a Dr right away about STDs.   Man I should not have did what I did.

I contacted my phone company after many harassing calls. They were very helpful and offered 2 different services to block numbers. Also the best advice is to contact your state's Attorney General's office, they will want the phone number to contact to insure the calls stop. Good Luck!

This number keeps calling..shows Out Of Area..recording says Please check the number and dial again..we are sorry your call can not be completed as dialed..They keep calling and it is the same thing over and over...how do I get them to quit since I have no live person to talk to?

These are offshore scammers.  I find the best solution is to get the live person on the line and blow a loud whistle in their ear....at least it makes ME feel better :)
