got a call from this number, did not understand what company they worked for, but they kept asking for someone elses name.  I hung up on them.

As a norm I don't take calls from unnkown #s.  These past week, I have been receiving calls repeteadly from 321-549-3042 and 303-481-0027 without leaving messages at various times between 8:00am and 10:00pm.  Finally, today I decided to answer to a call from 321-549-3042, and nothing, total silence at the other end.  I do have an account with WAMU and am very aware that payment is 3 days past due but it's very annoying to keep receiving their phone calls without any message being related at all, particularly, after 9:00pm.

This is WAMU, but the caller ID does not appear, only the number. They tend to call between 8:30 PM and 10 PM at night.

321-549-3042 is the number they are calling on today. They used 770-240-0000 yesterday. and a 210 number Thursday. The fun part is that I have never been a customer of WAMU. Am sick of this.

This number rings my mobile with one ring and than disconnects. Do they think by doing this multiple times a day I will get curious and call. Now that I searched the phone number online and found this site, I can assume it is WAMU (or is it yMoo) and ignore it. Thanks.

WAMU..my payment was ontime and current. Wanted yet more money..an lady could not speak clear english an was very very rude.

It's Washington Mutual again ILLEGALLY CALLING A MEDICAL OFFICE!!!  They have been warned before plenty of times not to call and to please follow the law, but they still keep calling asking for the wrong person. This time using the name of "Melissa Morse" showing on the Caller ID.

they call, i ignore.  Hell, I have already paid my payment this month.  These creeps want me to send more.  I JUST GOT OFF OF DISABILITY AFTER HAVING KNEE SURGERY.  Do they expect me to crap additional money.  These people are rude, crude and socially unacceptable.  They need to get a life and go after those who DON'T make their payments, and leave us HONEST people, who make their payments, alone.

Yep, Washington Mutual again!!! I would probably talk to them but they alway have some foreigner on the other end.  WAMU! Get your call center in the UNITED STATES and out of other countries. HIRE AMERICANS not foreigners!

this is about the eighth phone number this company has used to call me. I called to have my number removed last Friday and am still getting the calls. I don't have an account with them!

Four times on 12-16-08... & two of those times within 5 minutes of each other.  Going through debt consolidation so I expect I'll be getting more but my account with them isn't even 2 weeks late & already they're bombarding me with calls?  It's not like I'm a month past due.  No wonder WaMu as a company is in the crapper.

On 12-17-08 they called me at 5:53AM using a Pennsylvania number!  I warned them about what constitutes a decent hour for such calls, told them I will be filing a complaint, then I hung up.  I have a feeling this could get ugly.

same thing here, calling at odd hours, no one on the other end most of the time, diff parts of US, that lady not from here. tell them every time, I've lost my job, husband working part time, reg bills & property taxes come first!!!! we're in mid-michigan, forgettaboutit!! then she STILL wants to go through her routine, which i'm not willing to listen to anymore!!! have no money, they are not willing to settle anything, will not lower interest rate 'until an offer comes available', i've gone back to dial-up, i just went on line right now to keep them from getting through, they've called like 10 times this morning already, only once was a voice on the other end, told her my routine, this one my husband's acct, still wanted to post-date a payment!!! property taxes first!!!!  also says 'blocked call', 'unknown caller', (303)481-0027, (412)595-9025, (770)240-0000.

Called me several times today, and every single day for the past few weeks. Had to switch from my landline to cell phone so I know who's calling cuz I was missing many other calls from screening these guys. I am making weekly payments, but I guess that's not enough.

Umm, I have great credit, nothing late or overdue but I've gotten three of these on three different numbers on a cell phone I hardly use.  I have no clue who these people are - I don't have any accounts with them.  I have gotten phone calls in the past about an ex-husband failing to pay but if these people are annoying ME because of him!

It's been one a day the last three days.

My husband and I sympathize with all of you, we get the same phone calls.  We finally decided to leave our fax machine one 24/7.

I get the same calls also. I just pick up and quickly hang up. I wish there was a way to block the number or give them a taste of their own medicine.

Washington Mutual MUST BE STOPPED!  I have sent emails to major news networks, my cell carrier, my state government, AND Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hannity!!!  WaMu is practicing their form of domestic terrorism and they MUST BE STOPPED for GOOD!  If every one of us would email the media once a day, certainly it would be the top story on the news and maybe we could get some lawyers involved and file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against these creeps and put them out of our misery once and for all!!!

I received a call from this number at 10:45pm last night.  It was the 6th call from the number for the day.  I thought they couldn't call that late.  what can i do?

i have logged calls for the last 6 weeks. a different number every day. some common ones. all wamu. from 10am to 10:30 pm. if there is a way to sue them  i'd like to know.

this FL number is one of about....8 they've called from.  I've answered a few times, no one responds & the first "hello" and so...I hang up.  They are calling 6 to 10 times a day & 6 days a week.  Haven't had any Sunday calls, yet!?  I am just turning the ringer off & on when I want it on.  I've tried to make payment arrangements & they don't care enough about our personal situation to to even attempt reasonable payment arrangements.

I started receiving calls from this number on my cell phone yesterday.  I have a new cell number and apparently the person who had it before me had dealings with these people.  The one time I answered the phone there was no one on the other end.  I'm sorry to hear of so many people being harassed but am very thankful for the information you've given.  I won't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and hope they give up.

They start calling at 8am SHARP, particularly on Saturdays when you may want to sleep in a bit.  They don't call that early during the week, so as far as I'm concerned it's a harrassment tactic to do that on the weekend.  They call several times a day, leave no message and if I do answer there's no one on the line.  They use multiple phone numbers.... I've gotten a live body twice, clearly English is not their first language.  They've been told repeatedly to not call my cell phone... they do it anyway.  As soon as I can pay them off completely and close that account, I'm going to... I don't like the way they're doing business.  Harrassing your customers is NOT a viable business practice IMO.

Washington Mutual calling from wherever their little heart pleases. Never did business with them or any other bank prior to WAMU buying them out. I think they say they buy banks out to spam people.
