this phone 323-330-0620 calls at least once a day. It rings for less than 1 second and then stops and becomes a missed call. There has never been a message left. This is an annoyance call.

Before donating to NRDC, yet another huge bureaucratic organization, I would check the telefund website to see if they list them as a client.  Even if they don't, I would guess that NRDC hires one of these telemarketing firms to similarly harass donors.  If you want to give to a large organization, its best to do so anonymously.  But you might also consider giving to a local organization that will spend more of your money on the issue you care about and less on trying to get more money from you.

I'm so tired of these calls, I almost feel like I should stop giving money to charity.

It's a telemarketer, apparently hired by The Nature Conservancy.  According to Manta:

They call repeatedly, like any telemarketer, since they're paid by NC to get you to donate.  Anyone know what their cut is?

I have received at least a dozen calls from this number recently which I have not answered because the caller ID is "unknown."  If this is Nature Conservancy, they have lost my support.  I tell all solicitors that I do not donate to any organization, no matter how worthy, that does telephone solicitations.  If everyone would do that for awhile, this harassment might stop.

I have supported the Nature Conservancy for many years (probably 15). However, having received 10-12 calls in the last week, they are no longer on my approved list. I will be sending them an email explaining why I will no longer contribute. I will be donating to the N.R.D.C. instead, the money that I would have given the N.C.

I called back about 11:30PM and someone did answer - It is the Nature Conservancy. I am a member and I assumed they were calling to renew. I don't like being called and will informed them of this. They called earlier about 8:10PM -

My guess is that it's the Nature Conservancy, or a fundraising representative of theirs.  I am a member of the NC and fully support them, but I don't want to receive these calls.  If I ever actually speak to them, I'll tell them so.

These jerks called 2 days in a row - same number, but caller id said 2 different names: "Nature Cons" and "Donor Services".  They do not leave a message when answering machine comes on.  I am really getting sick & tired of these "nonprofits" harassing me ... I get at least 2 calls a day up until 9 pm at night, including Sundays!!  The Do Not Call list should include everyone!!!  I also refuse to give money to organizations that solicit by phone - so if you people are reading this -- stop calling me - it won't do you any good!
