Isn't it great that you morons continue to bitchand cry ahout this online. If you specifically ask to be put on the Do Not Call LIST a few times, youll get there. Cursing at them will void any progress you made and land you right back into Callback mode. Remember, THEY decide whether your number is removed from the list, so if you're being s****y to them, they will not do it. Common sense, the same way youre not rude to your waiter since he handles your food.

I get about one call per day from this number. Holding, and waiting for a connection ends up with a busy signal. How can I stop this unending annoyance?

I think N A D stands for " Never Anybody Dere"  Just let the call go unanswered.

When they call put the phone next to the radio speaker and have some obnoxious music or whatever play to them, don't say a word. The calls will stop, at least it worked for me, for the V.A Mortgage company nuisance calls..
For N.A.D the guy was hilariously stupid, he was so prepared to get yelled at that he accused me of yelling and screaming before I had a chance to speak. Poor guy, tough job, guess someone has to do it.

These idiots call repeatly and are becoming an annoyance.  Somehow there should be a way to stop

Got a call from 323-372-1224. I called it back and a man answered. Didn't say a company name, hello or anything except.. "Are you having troubles with your mortgage?". I said nope and he hung up.

Woman did not identify company but asked for my husband by name. When I asked to take a message she said it was to extend our car warranty for a vehicle she correctly identified... but is not in my husbands name but mine. When I corrected her she hung up. Since my number is listed with the National Do Not Call List, I assume this is why she hung up?? I did write the number down with the time called and will track it for future contact to sue them if necessary!! Another number associated with them is 856-295-9773. I did not bother with calling back, but immediately looked them up on the internet. They have several phone numbers that are identified with this scam. So I assume they are NOT a LEGIT company and just a scam facility looking to either steal your identity or your money!! BEWARE!!

Got a call from 305-587-2101(cell phone out of Florida) with caller ID N A D asking if I owned a certain type of car & would like to purchase and extended warranty.. Looked at the caller ID and notice N A D came up again with a number out of Georgia 404-891-5615.. The called a private & uplisted number!!

they called....i did not answer.....they did not leave message.

so does anyone know the purpose of the calls?

I just got my new phone number from my cable company. I've not given the number to any business, and only a few close friends have it. AT&T is the local phone company (formerly SBC) so they have it because of the phone directory. But I didn't have this number when I bought my last car or car insurance. Still I'm getting these calls now. NAD has called three times in the last 25 hours. I've answered only once because I was resting but expecting an important call from a friend so I picked up before looking at the Caller ID. Nobody said anything when I said hello, and I hung up immediately. What a drag.

They call me 3 times in a day and I told them to stop calling me and they keep calling after I told them please don't call here again.

this is rediculous, cannot someone do something about these people. We get these calls 2-3 times a day, if you call the # back enough times, eventually it will be answered by a machine. What age are we living in where machines can harrass us, this is not "THE MATRIX"  is it???

This number is calling me constantly.  No one answers and then they hang up.  When trying to call it back, I ge a busy signal.  This can NOT be legal and very harrassing.  I googled the number which led me to this sight.  The number is 323-372-6392.

I just called the service provider. It is PAC-West Telecom. the problem is that they only provide wholesale service. They sell a number that can then be sold to someone else. The company requests that you give them your personal info and request that you be taken off the list. I don't understand why they can't just disconnect this number, but for whatever resaon, they can't. I suggest that people just start overwhelming them with phone calls, perhaps they will find a way. the number for PAC -West is 1-800-511-9048. I did not give my personal info, because I don't know who is getting it, and I already don't trust the people associated with the N A D number. My advice, give Pac-West some incentive to investigate and CALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So like everyone else on here...we receive a call from NAD at least 3 times a week. When I answer they just hang up...so I called them back and a machine answered. If you want to be taken off the calling list call the number back and it will tell you to leave your phone #...then I guess you're taken off the list. I'm crossing my fingers that it works lol

I got the same call for weeks now. There is one trick I’ve done and for this it requires a computer, a modem card with caller ID feature and a free program phone tray that you can download it here http://www.phonetray.com/downloads.htm and scroll down the page until you find this section “PhoneTray Free 1.37″.

Once downloaded, you plug your phone line into your computer and you phone into your computer. Then each phone calls coming in can be filter using phone tray. You can also have a message play for a specific number and you can record your own as well. very handy program.

Just got a call from them too, I didn't pick up but I did call back and right away it goes to a message saying

"Hello you have reached the warranty division, fi you would like to be added to the do not call list please say your 10 digit number. Thank you and have a nice day"

So I guess just call the number and speak your numbers and they don't call you anymore.

Got a call today from Dan O'Keef (not sure on spelling).  Wanted to extend the warranty on my car.  He has no ID #.  When I informed him of my number being on the do not call list he said, "well that must be nice."  I expained that he was breaking the law by calling and could be fined for each offense.  He became very rude told me he would put me on the do not call.  I explained that I  have asked several times before and was also sick and tired of the abandoned calls.  He said, "Get over it"  and hung up on me.  I am reporting him and this number to the FCC and for punitive damages.  I suggest you do the same if you are sick of these calls.

They've been calling for the past week. I spoke to someone there on Friday and they ask for someone I've never heard of. He said sorry and hung up. They called again less than 5 minutes ago...really??!!! People have nothing better to do these days than harass people!!! ugh!!

I called the number back and got a recording saying "Hello, you have reached our warranty divison, If you would like yoou number to be removed from our list, please say your 10 digit phone number after the beep'

Sounds like some sort of scam to me.

Called and asked what kind of car I drive I have a 1977 f250. The rep said I was a liar and not a good one since the f250 wasn't made in 1977!!!! Got me mad and I tracked them down

Caller ID says N A D.  I thought it was National Auto Division, but their in NJ and this call is from Los Angeles, CA.  I am convinced that National Auto Division is not involved even though these scammers do try to get your payment information and sell supposed car warranty extensions.  Most times they hang up on me, but they talk to my mom.  Little do they know she's smarter than 90% of california put together, so we've got nothing to worry about other than annoyances.

I have gotten these calls and they appeared on my caller I.D as NAD! is it National Association of the Deaf? National Advertising DIvision? who knows............ it sounds like the deaf because they never speak!

This is a business out of Los, California area, and the people that work there, threaten to call me any time and I don't know why they insist I need a auto service contract re-newal on a car I have never owned my entire life. When they call you, wait a few quiet seconds, after you pick up. When He/She answers ., 0...Let them know by saying, NATIONAL AUTO Division.
