Similar story to those previous - Guy texts, mentions his name is Smith and wants to buy a vehicle I have on Craigslist and willing to offer me $200 more than I am asking to "seal the transaction". States he originally wanted to buy this for his Dad but he is an Oceanographer with a contract that starts tomorrow and needs the vehicle today. He mentions he can only use Paypal and sends 3 long texts very quickly (nobody can text that fast) on how to set up a Paypal Account. He also mentions due to where he is at, he can't make any Bank Transfers and hence has no other option for payment.
I would suggest not dealing with this individual.

I was selling motorcycle gear, on Craigslist, and the Nigerian Scammer wanted me to ship the items to him.
He claimed to have a shipper/mover who handles his shipping arrangement anywhere in the world, he would be coming for the pickup, after you have received payment, which would be through PayPal. He also claimed to be an historiographer and wanted my PayPal email address, phone number, and address. He also wanted me to text him at this number: (323) 374-3347.
I hope he receives what he deserves; water dripping on forehead torture or someone forcing him to watch Fox News...

This number is a scam....... Contacted me via text off craiglist. Wanted to purchase my vehicle sight un seen for his father for full asking price. Would pay via paypal. This number said he worked as an oceanographer.
