Male telemarketer. He started with asking for me by my complete name. I asked him how he got my name and number.  He completely lied and said he was in my neighborhood and did work for my neighbor. He made up a fake name "Carlos Davis" and also a fake address that does not exist.  I caught him on his lie.  He said he did interior paint work for "Carlos" and he loved it so much that he recommended me to get work from Housing Solutions "Home Improvement". After I questioned him on ever lie, he said he will call my fake neighbor and have him call me to recommend them.  What a crock of BS.  People and companies like this needs to be prosecuted criminally. The number is a non listed and non callable number.  This is how you know they are scams.  

Don't pick up the phone when you see the number.  If you do and then you even listen to what they have to say, they'll continue calling back every week.  They actually get rewarded for speaking to a person, even if it's for 30 seconds.  Being polite ends up biting you in the a**.

Another call same as previous received at 10.30 AM PST.

Another call same as previous received at 11.31 AM PST.

Another call same as previous received at 9:40 AM PST.

Still another call from the same number at 11:40 AM  PST.  Same load of nonsense, "they are in the area" and " they can come out and give me free estimates" and that sort of thing.  They go through and entire list of home improvements then mention solar and then mentioning painting and then mention exterior coasting and then fencing.    They can do ANYTHING!
Finally hung up after I said no about a dozen times!  Something scammy about it.  No company name and he didn't even identify him himself and could not speak clear English.  Call center in the background.

Still another call from the same number at 5:50 PST.   Kept droning on and on about doing any kind of work at all on the house despite the fact that II keep telling him over and over again,we don't want or need any work.  Then he keeps wanting to send an estimator out to the house despite the fact that that  I told him we don't want any work done.  Then the tries to tell me he can install solar panels with no out-of-pocket expense.  I tell him that upfront money is always needed and if not, then I'd have to go into debt. I told him I have no money and won't go into debt, but he just doesn't stop.  Finally told him dinner was waiting and I'd have to leave and told him not to call again.  I know he will.  Isn't really a scam, but still questionable.

Called again today at 11:30 AM  PST.  Another one of these "green" calls wanting to send someone out to the house to give me a 30 min talk on installing energy upgrades.   Like that's going to happen!   Told him we weren't  interested about three times.  Calling on a Sunday morning.  

Somebody called from something called All  Home Solutions at about 10:15 AM  11-26-2013.  Same as previous calls.  Had information about solar panels and she wanted to "send someone out"  to talk about it.  I told her if she had any information,  to send it in the mail.  She was insistent that she wanted a personal rep from the company to come to my house.   I kept telling her I wasn't interested in talking to any sales reps.  She finally gave up.  But I know she or someone like her will call again.
Could be some kind of scam to get into your house and distract you while a co-worked goes through your belongings.  Everybody watch out for anyone who wants to  send a rep to your house and  is reluctant to send you information in the mail.

Got a call again at this number at 3:14 PM   PST  11/19/2013  This time this lady said she was from something called America's Gone Green.  They apparently install solar panels.   She droned on and on about cutting down my power bill by 60% .  Then she asked me when was a good time TODAY to come out and give me free information.   I told her I wasn't interested and she kept telling me that she wanted to send someone out with free information.   She got pushy.  I finally told her for the last time I wasn't  interested.   There' s something up here but I don't know what it is.

A woman called from that number and said my daughter is in the hospital at Long Beach Memorial.  She then hung up.

Got another call 10:15 PST  today.  Some company wanting to know if I needed any work done and telling me about some sort of cash-back benefit I would get if I had the work done.  They knew when my house was built. My suspicion is that they were going to send someone over to give an estimate and request some kind of down-payment.   They kept droning on and on and finally when I said "no"for about the 5th time they hung up.
Be on the lookout!  Better safe than sorry.  I think the name of the company was Housing Solutions, or something like that.  Didn't get it down.

Got a cal.  Left on my caller ID about 3 PM pacific standard time 9/26.

Called. Knew my name, then hung up.

An illegal business activity. The caller is offering to "repair and improve your home", but refuses to give the name and address of the company.
Probably that means removing your belongings.

So annoying, I like answering my phone, but hate hang-up calls.

Someone called that number and said they were from something Called America Goes Green or something like that.  Then they hung up.

Just called.  No name shown on phone so I will never pick up.  So annoying and pathetic.

One of many who are not identified on Caller ID and hang up without leaving a message. This happens daily and there's apparently no recourse.
