My phone co. arrangement is weird: all I ever get is CALIFORNIA CALL & a number--never a name-- ON EVERY DIFFERENT CALLER!  Thanks to all of you for posting here, I'd never know what kind of persons we deal with without you!

I keep getting calls from this company I'm on the do not call registry. I just received a call asked them to take my# off of their lost and I was told were not going to do that bi***!!!

2 calls to my landline today. Jerks!

These dweebs, the phone rang and immediately disconnected-this puts a big smile on my face cuz that means whomever called has been blocked. #. initially blocked was 323-669-8528, immediately called again was disconnected and then called once more using the following # 979-865-9432-GUESS WHO IS GETTING BLOCKED! Bozo's!!!!

15 pages of comments. This one is sure persistent! Call blocking is the best invention ever. Unlimited call blocking with no extra fees should be mandatory if the government isn't going to do anything else to help us.

These Scum Bags keep calling...I picked it up once and told them I did not want to hear from them again whatever it was for which they were soliciting!   We report these calls but what is the good of it if nothing is done!!!

CALLED AGAIN - BLOCKED AGAIN - BLOCKED FOREVER!

Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in...it's sometimes hours (or days) before I see that they called.

So they tried again today.  Looking at my call log, they "call bombed" me with 6 calls in one minute.  Nomorobo blocked 4 of them, and my blocker got the other two as that area code (323) is blocked.

Try as they might, they're not going to make our house phone ring from any number, other than the 70 or so that are on our white list.

Fail, asshats!

"Ashley" identified the company as "SoCal Builders" and "they would be in my area" to give free estimates on home repair work.  I was not nice to Ashley.

Didn't recognize the number....didn't pick up.  They didn't leave a message.

It's Sunday Father's Day......12:30 lunch time.

California Business and Professions Code Section 7083, one of the items on the laundry list of complaints against ARI on the CSLB site --

7083.  All licensees shall notify the registrar, on a form
prescribed by the registrar, in writing within 90 days of any change
to information recorded under this chapter. This notification
requirement shall include, but not be limited to, changes in business
address, personnel, business name, qualifying individual bond
exemption pursuant to Section 7071.9, or exemption to qualify
multiple licenses pursuant to Section 7068.1.
  Failure of the licensee to notify the registrar of any change to
information within 90 days shall cause the change to be effective the
date the written notification is received at the board's
headquarters office.
  Failure to notify the registrar of the changes within the 90 days
is grounds for disciplinary action.

This number called (and was blocked again) just seconds after I got a call from a new 202 number.  That number was blocked also (that whole area code is blocked).  That's three times in three days I've been call bombed by multiple numbers at once according to my call log.  Yesterday, it was 4 calls at once--all of which were blocked.

Sorry d-bags, even if you do get past Nomorobo and my block list, I'm using a white list now, so there's no way in Hell you're going to get my phone to ring.  The best you can hope for is to get answering machine hell.  Screw you!

I get these calls all the time, and even if I do pick up, there is no one on the other end. What in the world is the purpose? I finally decided to try calling the number, but the first time it was busy, and the second time it said the number was disconnected.

Very strange.

They keep trying until they realize that they are wasting their time and then they sell your number together with all those numbers that do not answer to other telemarketers.

Everyday exact 2:45PM, I am getting calls from  323-669-8528, Nobody talks, trying to return massage says the phone you are trying to rich is no longer available.

Called again this morning - blocked again and our phones did not ring - Bazinga!

I see from the call  blocker they called and were blocked.  Funny. Nomorobo usually gets em first.  Re-reported to Nomorobo.  Even if they had called me from an area code that wasn't entirely blocked, they would not have made it past my white list of wanted callers and would have been shunted to a secondary silent answering machine set aside for these kind of calls--and people I might have missed when setting up my white list.

All is silent here except for callers I specifically want.  Love it!
