I have gotten calls from this number a number of times, they usually leave messages that just have heavy breathing.  The actually called my in-laws looking for me.  Quick google search shows they call themselves ACCOUNT CONTROL, which can mean anything.  They basically fish for info, tell them nothing.  Where I work scammers use this method a lot to get info then have another person call to extort money from you on a credit card.

Female asked for some man I ask who this was and what it was regarding and all I got was something important has come up is this his wife? I got rude and said to stop calling me. I have gotten over 30 calls from this number both male and female. I refuse to give them my name or any information about me plus I dont know anyone by this mans name and have stresssssssed that many times. All I know is this is a AT&T land Line in TX

This number called my phone today and by looking at the information on this page, this number goes back to 2009 & it is now 2013. Must be a collection agency or some type of scam artist. The weird thing is that no where on the internet can I find out any information on this number and then I mysteriously get another call from the same area code in the same day almost 2 hours later. Wish I had some information on who this person is. Other information that I found that it was a person named "Sarah" who wanted to talk to someone right away. So this leads me to believe that it is an collection agency trying to get paid. The only thing I know that it is from Texas.  

Recieved a call at 9:30 Pm from this number asking for me in my maiden name....  I have been married for 11 years.... when i said no, this is not her, he says...." I was led to believe this was erin who was born in july....."

Got a call from some friends that a "Sarah" called them and wanted to get in touch with me.  Message left with them caused concern as "she sounded quite distressed and wanted to talk to you right away."  I called this number and "Sarah" asked if I was the "Tony (xxx) born in 1966?"  When I told her no, she kept asking questions which I refused to answer. I have no idea how they ever tied me to my friend's number, but BEWARE if you get a call from this number and do not return it!  Heaven only knows what type of information they would have tried to get from me had I chose to go along with her initial questioning!

Called asking for my sister, in her formal and rarely used name. Caller left message and sounded desperate, needed to talk with my sister but couldn't track down her number. I didn't call back...will ignore these calls.

"Sarah" left a message on my voice mail, as though I should know her or her YUPPIE voice, requesting a return call. Gotta be some third party perp! Do any of us have anything in common with exception caller and number...

Had message on my answering machine from a Sarah who was asking for my son.  She talked as if they were old friends and asked for him to call her.  Later the same afternoon a Sarah from the same number called my nieghbor trying to get information.  My nieghbor asked if it was an emergency, if she was family or if it was work related she answered no to all the questions.  My nieghbor refused to give Sarah any information.  I reported this call to our local Sheriff's Dept. and suggest you do the same if contacted by Sarah.

I just have to assume they're a Collection Agency.  They called me looking for my Ex-Wife who is not a good person.  I've been divorced for over 4 yrs and have no idea about my ex and out of the blue get this phone call.  They'll call anyone they can get info on that's connected to that person or that person's current or previous addresses.!

So I'm going out on a limb and saying that they ARE a Collection Agency!

PS - I believe the call came from TX.

My mother got a call from a Sarah Menous Looking for me and she sounded very urgent i looked up the number on the internet and here it is.

they called my landlord who gave them no information, and passed the number on to me.  My landlord said tht they knew my name, knew my address, and said that when she probed for more information on why they wanted to talk to me that they just gave her the phone number and told her that I would know who they were.  I dont give out my landlords information as who I rent from, I do not know anyone from texas, and am going to report any further attempts to the police, and have instructed my landlord to do the same.
