I got two  random texts from two different numbers saying pretty much the same thing. It was disturbing they knew my name and wanted me to add them on yahoo messenger

I got one from a 775 number.  Saying it was Jen and to please add her on yahoo msgr so we can can talk a bit.  Its: hoovesangelina.

Exact same as all of you. It said "Heyaaa Taylor" I asked who it was and they said,  "a.d me on y! msngr ... sn is laylachick8"  I had heard of someone getting something like this before so I just deleted It. The number or came from was (203) 347-2231

i received a text from a 443 # also and accidentally added them to my yahoo messenger for 4 hrs, i deleted them and changed password but should i be worried i was only on my phone yahoo msgr not computer.

Got text from 443-203-5040. Said to add them nonnahazl177@yahoo,   Told them to delete my number 7 not text agian because I believe it is a scammer,  Turned them in on the do not call list.

I got these messages from 325-455-2034 with the yahoo ID being textiechick778. I replied, "I don't have Yahoo Messenger and I'm not gonna get it just to figure out who you are. you're obviously able to text." So I didn't get any further messages back about their phone dying or anything

I got the same text but from a 559-421-9335 number. Super creepy!

I got this text to last night "Hey are you there?  I haven't heard from you in a while" WTH!!

This has to be a hacker. I keep receiving requests on my yahoo to add some person I don't know and today they sent a text message to my cell phone saying, "Hey Jennifer, you there? Haven't heard from you in awhile.". This is definately someone trying to hack into your email - which if they are successful at, they can gain access to all of your emails with personal information and eventually can hack into your computer. Now - the scary part is how in the hell did this person get my cell phone number?

I just got this message. The muppets strike again.

I got the same exact messages. When this person asked me to add them ob yahoo to find out who they are, I said or you can tell me who you are. They replied with "omg my phone is gonna run out of battery, just talk to me on yahoo" seriously, how bored are people?

I received the same message just a short time ago. Is there any possible way we can actually report this person or entity in order to find out who is it coming from and mainly put a stop to it?

I received a text. Also whoever sent the text knew my name. l asked who was texting, then i never got a reply.,  Very unconfortable...

they told me their yahoo id was ettymic408

I just got the same text but the text actually referenced my name.  Same exact reply messages as above though.  Strange.

They told me their messenger ID was nonnahazl177? I just want to know how they got my number

Forgot to mention the fact that the person texting also gave me their Y messenger Id corettegiv696. Hope someone can catch this person and put a stop to these foolish messages from this person who has nothing better to do than randomly text people.

I received a text from 325-269-0688 also. They also started by asking if I was there? that they "haven't heard from me in a while". I replied who is this and they said "lol if you wanna know who this is you got to add me on Y!. I replied and just said "ok then, that I just wouldn't find out who this is".(I would never answer a call from an unknown number and if they cant leave a message, even worse) He/she replied the same exact thing as previous posting that they're phone was dying and to message them on Y!

Me too  and then i call the number and it's a TX area number saying i've reached someone text phone number
when i ask who that was text reply LOL add me to your yahoo messager, i told the them no and the text said OMG my phone is dying talk to me on yahoo

I got the same text. Who the f*** is this person?

Also got a txt, said "Hi, you there? Have not heard from u in a while."

I got a tx from this number too.
