I am an "employee" for the education authority. I actually work for a small telemarketing company that has them as a client.  Many telemarketing companies have them as a client. That should take care of the location issue.  As for the call back number.  Yeah, No. There isn't one due to us not dialing your numbers. No incoming calls so no number. All we do is pick up the headset and wait for the next person on the line.

The reason no one is there is due to a crappy system called the auto-dialer. The company is so afraid of losing money that they set up an auto dialer so no wasted time dialing. Result: you p****off everyone you do call due numerous calls with no answer. people that once might have been interested now irritated. Trust me.  being on the other side of the line, I'd rather they scrapped that system or fixed it

Received now several times a call from tha number and I do not know where that is, because there is no voicce mail.

I just got a call and they are doing a much better job now trying to act like a real company.  In fact, I requested a manager and they gave me one.  The way you can tell that it's not a real company is ask if you can call them back.  They will give you a number but they can't give you "theirs" because it's just a scam.  They have a web page which just lets you put in your name, phone, etc.  Like leading the chickens to the fox hole I guess.  Any legitimate company is going to want you to call back so they can promote their product.

If it's not a scam then I'd really like to know who the companies are that are hiring these boobs to call for a service we didn't want.  If anyone knows please let me know.

I have never requested any college information online! Yet I received three calls in one day.  Only once was there actually someone there! They asked if I was still interested in College Information.  I said I never interested as I am a retired person. But they still keep calling.  My call came from 330-409-0368.

They called me 3 times. 2 of the calles were the same day. I didnt pick up any of the calls. From the other comments posted here. It looks like it is either a scam or just a bad tele-marketer.

I hope everyone who complains on this site also files a complaint with the Do not call list.  I know it may seem tedious but if we all complain to the national list then they have to investigate.  But thanks for giving some info; it really helped.

They keep hanging up.  I call back and get elevator music,  They hang up after 2 minutes and 8 seconds.

i called the number back, thinking it was probably my uncle or cousin, who lives in the Akron/Canton area.....turns out its some telemarketing agency

Now get this - when they answer, a lady coems on and says "May I speak with Jon Smith please?". now.....mind you I was calling THEM. said she was from TheEducationAuthority.com and asked me if i had requested college information over the net. Hard to say how they got my # - i requested no such info. So I just hung up and blocked the number.

I just called the number 330-409-0367 and was told this number belongs to "Educational Authority" and they can help me further my education by finding me a place to go to school and potential financing.  

I said I do not need your assistance, so please remove me from your call list.  The woman on the phone said, "you already have a degree?"
I said yes and I want to be taken off your list.

She said, OK sir. and hung up.

I  been getting the same call but right after they hang up a another call comes in with in seconds, and it is an automated thing from a company trying to collect a debt

Call daily. No messages and when I answered it just beeped in my ear.

i also get this number calling twice a day...i have never been home to answer. i noticed someone mentioned Revenue Assist. too. i have seen that name on my caller ID too.  i know they are only trying to make a living like the rest of us, but seriously...take the HINT!!

They keep calling me from this number at work, I don't know who they are.

yup me to not as offten as three of four times a day but about once or twice a week.

This is a call center that calls on behalf of other shady organizations.  I got calls today from it but it was Revenue Assist, could be to some type of education assistance I suppose but it's definitely telemarketing of some type and unsolicited.

Pretty much the same as everyone else here- multiple calls at the most inopportune times humanly possible. It's getting annoying.

was just called by this phone number about a minute ago, and I called them back. They claim to be the "Education Authority". They had my name spelled backwards tried to verify my address and then asked if i wanted to go to college but never specified any certain college. It was a rather suspicious phone conversation

They called my house at 9:04am. left no message on machine; I called the number back and "Peggy" answered asking to speak with the homeowner, I replied saying" you got her," and then she asked "what course of ctinuing education classes would you be interested in?"

I told her "NONE" and DON'T EVER CALL AGAIN!
She refused to give the name of the business.

this number calls me at least once a day its so annoying.

I get calls from this number several times a day.  The first time I did answer it and it was someone who knew my first name trying to sell me a deal on a college loan. I told him never to call again but now I get calls which I do not answer from this number several times a day. It has been going on for the past 5 days.

they call me atleast 5 times a day. i just called back and the lady who answered was very rude and said she was calling about education. i said i wanted off the list she said ok and hung up on me probably not even knowing my number...
