I received more than 20 calls this week from GE Capital (330-433-5833) at all hours of the day.  Clearly, they use alternate numbers.  I have reported them to the police, the local district attorney's office, and a national no-call list.  Since Amazon does business with GE Capital, I also reported the robo calls to them.

Whatever the company, they really know how to pick pretty dumb aggressive ones. A woman called asking for someone who sounded like my name, (often mispronounced anyway) and after I said it was me in case it was something related to work, and she said she was from Sam's Club Discover. That's when I realized it was the wrong person/not me, so I told her. She then proceeded to yell at me that I broke the law by "ID'ing myself incorrectly as someone else..." REPEATEDLY and EMPHATICALLY and that the call was recorded 3x..." So i just told her to take my number off the list since it wasn't correct and she STILL proceeded to go on and on about how I broke the law and that it wasn't a "list", that the name she said didn't sound at all like mine... She missed the whole point. I 'broke the law' because I thought she was one of those people who couldn't pronounce my name? Let's see if she's smart enough to write in the notes that this was the "Wrong number" vs. "Woman Breaking Law from ID'ing herself as someone else," so I hope to not get calls like this- or from people as ridiculous and rude as her. 3x the recording to show how lame she was. Never had a Sam's Club card, but now I'm never gonna get one, just in case! :)

ok got this phone call several times.. Asking for my SS#, and then account #. I said to them "WHO ARE YOU?" they are Sams Club and that I had a DISCOVER card., I said I do not have a discover card. Ending up my friend has a buisiness, so thru his company we get Sams card, and I have a Sams card to go there to get groceries. Well, they called me instead of the OWNER of the membership @ Sams. Really ticks me off. Because of the way they are operating.

I think it's a collection agency trying to collect on a Medical Account.

I am getting this call 4 to 8 times a day on both my cell phone and house phone! What can they want I do not have any credit balances. I want these calls to stop! How!

I obviously joined the ranks of people googling this phone number.  It appears some actually believe it to be a legit call from a legit agency.  There is no way.  I'm one of those people that has a ZERO balance on my account, so for some clown (or clownette) (and with a hard Indian dialect) to tell me I owe over 1100 bucks on my card..  well..  it's obviously a SCAM!   I had also received a call from 800-955-7070 a few days ago(that was the Indian chick)  I feel sorry for anyone that decides to "verify information"  no doubt they'll probably find their accounts maxed out!

I do not own any credit cards and just started getting this call yesterday (Saturday).  I got it twice on Saturday and three times (so far) today.  Really people . . . On a Sunday?  Is that necessary?

GE Money called my number and asked for my wife - I inquired as to what it was about and the person on the other end said 'personal business'..  They have called several times before and left no voice mail messages.  I told the lady calling today that she had the wrong number and that person does not live here.  If they really want to contact my wife they can send her a letter in the mail like to 10,000 other companies.  We do have a Discover (Sam's) card so that was probably it - no reason to call my house; we pay all our bills on time and in full - we don't need any additional services thank you.

As for unwanted phone calls I have a VoIP phone service (Lingo) and it has advanced call forwarding where I can redirect an incoming call to another number based on the incoming caller ID.. a few years back I was harassed by a bill collector that I didn't owe any money to; he is now the proud recipient of all calls I don't want.. I laugh every time my phone doesn't ring :)

GE keeps calling from this phone number. The call numerous times a day, even as late as 10pm. Half the time after I answer the call is disconnected after about 30 seconds, other times it is a recording telling me to hang on the line. Either way, this is harrassment. I counted nine calls made to my cell phone yesterday alone.

I continue to get two calls per day from this number: 330-433-5813.  When I've tried to take the call, I am always told by a robotic to please hold for an available operator, which is fine if I've placed the call, but NOT fine when someone rings me and then tells me to hold?  Totally unacceptable!  How do I block this call?

I knew it had to be the Sam's Discover card!  I've had this card for 2 years and always pay on time.  *ONE* time I'm late (oversight, really), and I get a phone call ON THE FIRST day it was late!!!!  Unbelievable.  GE SUCKS.

They called me too but did not leave a message.  I am on the FTCs DO NOT CALL list.  My credit is fine, but I do have a Sam's Club Discover card, which is in good standing, so I don't know why they need to talk to me.  However, I called the 330-433-5813 number, and they identified themselves as GE Money Bank, which is who manages Sam's Club Discover accounts.
