These guys have been calling me all day. It's just music then they ask for someone who doesn't live here. The number is 330-659-1000. Ugh this is why I hate landlines!

They make any where from 3 to 6 calls a day, I've answered a couple of times and wait for someone to announce who they are and what they want and they either play music or just hang up.

Debt collector named RMS. These are vulture collectors attempting to sucker people into paying out-of-date bills. They NEVER pay the original creditor. Their Better Business Bureau (BBB) record reflects poor business practices. Any payment to them is a waste of money-payments are NOT reflected on your credit record. Better approach is to demand they document the debt. Since they will not be able to do this, you will then be able to challenge any negative listing with the credit reporting bureaus who are required to delete unsubstantiated line items.

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING THESE CALLS FOR OVER A YEAR.
I HAVE CALLED BACK THREE TIMES AND EXPLAINED THAT THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR DOES NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN AND IS NOT US. THEY SAY THEY WILL TAKE OUR PHONE NUMBER OFF THEIR LIST. GUESS WHAT! THE NEXT CALL COMES FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER. I BLOCKED THE NUMBERS AND FINALLY THE LAST NUMBER I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO BLOCK.
I HAVE CHECKED MY CREDIT REPORT JUST TO BE CERTAIN SOMEONE IS NOT USING OUR CREDIT AND SO FAR SO GOOD. SEEMS THEY ARE USING OUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.

This Is RMS a collection agency, its not a sprint agency as one poster said it is just a collection agency in general.
They are calling me for a delinquent vonage bill I refuse to pay.
If they are calling you odds are its for collections, If you don't have anything past due or in collections pick up! There is a chance your an identity theft victim, if you do well you know why they are calling and you, like me can ignore the call.
Seriously when you call me don't put me on hold to get me an agent, If I was willing to talk before then, I def would not after being called by a machine and put on hold. seriously I want to be put on hold I'll call my cell carrier.

D&B Receivables comes up on my caller ID. has been calling every night for the past two weeks. When I answer there is nothing but silence on the other end -- quite annoying!

i never answer unknown phone numbers it is very ineritating not to receive a true vm.

i got a call just now from that number and they barely speak english so i called back and it said it was a debt collector..i went to white pages and its a cell phone Likely Location:

No idea who this one, no voicemail, just missed calls.

This place called my other phone line. Didnt answer, but did a quick google search. Immediately called them (before the voicemail registered). Asked why they called me. The lady had no clue and stated that my (ATT) wasn't in her system. After hanging up I listened to the voicemail... My resume was online somewhere and they called for a job offer! Lmmfao!

Dear Old Sprinter-
How can  you block a call on a land line?  

By the way, we DON'T  have service with Sprint, so they are NOT calling a sprint number (cell or landline), yet they keep calling and calling.  I refuse to answer calls from unknown parties (in this case, D&B Receivables), but they never leave a message.  I am past annoyed, and reading other people's trials doesn't make me feel any better...

I have received about 6 calls over the past week, sometimes 2 - 3 times a day.  I never answer calls when I don't recognize the caller, but they have never left a message. My husband pays for my stepdaughter's Sprint bills, but the account is not in arrears, so I can't understand why they'd be calling us...

I will keep track of dates and times, and eventually answer to let them know I have a record of their calls, and hopefully they will leave us alone... If not, it's time for letters to the FCC and state Attorney General (does anyone know if I should send it to my state, or the state where the company is located?).

And this is only one of about 4 numbers that call repeatedly (some up to 6 months now), but never leave a message.  It becomes amazingly annoying when only 1 out of 4 calls to your phone is actually for YOU!

They called me today from this # but only silly elevator music played in the background. Nothing else.  Nobody on the other end. Rather annoying.

I have the same problem about 3-5 times a day this number calls me and nothing on it but sounds sometimes music.  I am fed up with it.  This is my business cell number.

If you don't have Sprint telephone service, this call means that someone else has Sprint service in your name.    I've been getting called from this number for a few months and ignoring it.  Finally I answered.  Turns out it's RMS Collection Agency and learned someone in Detroit has Sprint phone service in my name.   RMS person was actually trying to be helpful when we both learned 'whats up'.    Apparently this bill of over $1000 has been outstanding for the past 6 months.

The comment from 5-Sept-2008 is a fake.  I called Sprint PCS, and they confirmed that they have not had any deliquent accounts in my name and that they have not used this "collection" agency before.  This RMS Agency is a scam.  I have contacted a specialty law firm, and a possibility of a class action suit is now being investigated.

I've had several calls and since I don't know the name or number I don't answer assuming they'd leave a message. They haven't.
