I recieved a call today, no one was on the line when I answered. NOT COOL!!!

This number called me and only a few minutes later I called back only to hear that this number was disconnected. How can it be disconnected when I called the exact number back that showed up on my ID only minutes later? The name that appeared on my caller ID was J. Peterson then when I looked it up it showed the name to be Jeffery Peterson address 6050 Bear Road Carrollton Ohio 44615

Called my cell.  USSEARCH.com lists them as Verizon North, Inc. OH

They have called several times offering an auto warranty when I don't own a vehicle.

I listened to the entire message once after enough times of ignoring to see if I could stop them. At the end of the message it says "press 2 to opt out..."

Immediately after I pressed 2 the call disconnected. Probably a bad idea to tell them that someone with my number will listen to the entire message.

I got another call this morning from them which I ignored, maybe it was a human that I could curse at... oh well.

Got a call from this number. I didn't pick up, but I saw that this number has been reported several times.

Here is the 411, well the legitimate answer for everyone anyway. This number is in fact a computer that calls #'s off of a giant call list and if your # is active in any way the computer system logs your # in the system and makes a record of the active # on a sales sheet. This sales sheet of 100's of thousands of #'s is then sold to companies so that they can either call you as a possible sales lead or call you to "fish" for personal information. How do I know this? I work for the phone company that owns the system used. To make it stop add your telephone # to the national federal do not call registry and pray it works. If the calls don't stop you must then file a complaint with the FCC and FTC and the company can be fined $10,000 per call per violation. Adding your # will help prevent this from occurring with legitimate businesses.

Just got a call from that number.. Tried calling back.  Apparently, a phone they just called me from has been disconnected.

Same here. Has anyone actually picked up? WTF does this guy want? It annoys me when I'm expected to pick up the phone but if I call back its so much effort to even hear the phone ring on his end that he needs it connected only one-way.

Same story here!!! I got the call at 11:22am. No message & same story when I called back. I'm on the national do not call list, so this was a bit bizarre to me

Same here.  They called me on my cell.  They never leave a message to identify themselves.  I'm not wasting my cell minutes on these jack-offs.

Same BS. Didn't answer. Never answer numbers you don't recognize. If a person, not recorded BS messages, really needs to speak to you, they will leave a message and you can call back.

I have also received a call from this number today. I did not pick it up because it appeared to be from another state, and I don't know anybody from Ohio.

I hung up because I suspected fraud.

They kept calling me constantly every other day around 843am till 11am.

Just got a call from this number, I didn't answer, called back and it said it was not a working number.

nnd, this phone number call me almost every weekend, anyone can help to take it out.

I keep getting calls to mine & my wife's cell phones from this number; call it back and it's disconnected, answer and no one is there. Very annoying, not to mention a waste of our minutes.

Appears to be a big SCAM. They have some sort of automated dialer with some bogus phone number programmed into the dial back number. It makes it difficult for the enduser to track where the phone call is orginating.

It is very annoying to recieve these kind of calls.

this nunber called me telling my insurance is about to expire but did not know any details about policy, called it back it said the same as everybody else, out of order.

I actually answered the call and pressed one to be connected. They told me that my car's warranty was running out, I asked them which one because I own two. They didn't want to say but i insisted and they eventually said the Toyota, I replied that saying that didn't help since they were both Toyota's at which point he said it is the 2001 Highlander. Which I have and the Warranty has just run out on.

Scary thing is, the phone they called me on was a cell phone which is registered in my employers name and I didn't even have when I bought the car, how did they get that number? or did they make a luck guess. I told them not to call again and they hung up. They have called three times now.

I just received a call from this number and didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  After googling, found this site and that it may be about a car warranty.  I also receive other calls from 800 numbers that leave a voicemail stating that the warranty on my car is about to expire, so these posts would be consistent with that.

Just got a call from (330) 739-2210, same number and no one acknowledged on the other end.
