Hang up...

I set up a block on calls that are "Unavailable" even though they display the number. The same company: "US Yellow pages" called on a number with caller ID of a guys name; thus forcing me to answer because it might be a customer. I slammed the phone on my dest several times and threw every explitive I had at him. They have been calling twice a day for two weeks now. My latest plan is my electric toothbrush against the speaker on the phone, but before that, telling them that I know they are calling from Mumbai and that I have their location. FTC, FBI, and State's Attorney are plans C,D, and E.
Do NOT use the words "yes" or "agreee" with them. Read up on google about their scam. They want to piece together parts of "conversation" with you to put together in a recording (yes, they are recording the calls) that somehow in some twisted way sounds like you are agreeing to buy advertising with them.

Called my business line 2X last Thurs., 1X Fri., 4X yesterday (Mon.), and once today. (so far!) Never left a message. This morning, I answered with my business name and heard them hang up! WHY DO THEY CALL ON THE TELEPHONE IF THEY'VE GOT NOTHING TO SAY???

Did some more research. This "US Yellow Pages" company  will not stop calling you. According to complaints on Google, they are trying to engage you in a conversation to get you to agree to something using "agree" or "yes" in your vocabulary. They then bill for advertising that you didn't authorize. I told them not to call me again, but they won't stop. I've now put a block on the number.

This number calls my phone and when we answer they say nothing. When we attempt to call the numberback, we get a recording that the number is disconnected.

got a call from a gentleman with an accent from India.  He said they were from internet yellow pages and wanted to update my address. (they had one from 3 years ago).  I said no and hung up.

Our business receives a call from this number daily.  If we answer with our business name, they immediately hang up.  If we just say "hello" then someone starts talking about updating our listing on their internet business directory with USA Yellow Pages.   They than hang up before we are able to finish requesting to be removed from their list.  Calling back the number you hear a recording that the number has been disconnected.    This is very annoying.

They say they are US Yellow Pages calling (obviously via India from the feedback on the phone, weird clicking, and a guy with an accent named Mike). I tell them I'm not interested and they keep calling every day.

CALLS THREE TIMES A DAY

Called, didn't recognize, didn't answer, no message.
