This # just called us about 20 minutes ago pretending to be a cousin of mine that was coming to town for a "surgery" & needed someone to pick him up at the airport. I asked him for his name because his voice didn't sound like any of them, & he actually did mention my one of oldest cousins. I have no idea how they know this but obviously we didn't fall for it.

I just received a call from this number as well pretending to be a cousin. He said he was coming to Miami to have a surgery and needed a place to stay and for me to pick him up a the airport. I called my actual cousin and they have had similar calls. Not sure how he gets our number since it's not listed.

he called 7/23/13 pretending to be my cousin and claimed to be in a wreck and was coming to houston to a hospital but my actual cousins sister was with me and she conversated with the suspect and knew it wasn't her brother but this is the second time we get this type of call and we wonder how they get our number and names, they open the conversation with "hey its me your cousin" and when u ask who or which one they make you guess " oh u are juan" a common name and they be yes that one but ask them ur last name and they don't know but never send them money and let other family members be aware, we had to call to mexico to inform the family
