Just received a call from these scum suckers!!!

Just called my business line-- since it was a local (to me) number I assumed it was a possible customer, so I called it back. Answering machine picked up, saying something like "Thank you for calling home security, press 1 to connect to one of our representatives." I pressed 1 and was treated to about 60 seconds of generic hold music, then a mechanical voice saying "GOOD BYE" and then I was disconnected.

This number is scamming on Craig's List in Colorado Springs, saying they are trying to rent their house. Liars.

This number now appears of fake rentals on real estate websites. Another type of scam!! They want you to send a security deposit for the keys to the home before you can "view" the home. This person doesn't own the homes it posts. Beware!!

Got a text message reply for my $150 Craigslist posting, it stated " I will be offering you $290 including shipping. I'm not in the states at the momnet and i want you to help me ship it to west africa for my cousin. Who's working with the World Health Organization, want to get this to him as congratulatory gift. Do you have a Paypla account?

Got a bogus call from this number.

Another credit card scam.  Hang up on them immediately.  Report them to FTC.gov or IC3.gov.  Or go to killthecalls.com.  These jack***es called my home phone last night, and my cell phone today, which are both on the do not call registry

This number keeps calling my call phone with no message and when you call back it says it's been disconnectd.

I got a call from them which was answered by an automated scripted machine explaining if I have more than $6,000 in credit debt with high interest rate -- which I do no -- they can help me reduce it.

Upon pressing 1, it connected me to an alleged rep. I asked his name and he introduced himself as Matt. Immediately, I followed up by making an inquiry about the name of the business he was calling from -- he hung up promptly.

When you call back at this number (334)-245-2345, it says the number is disconnected which is a lie. What they've done is that any incoming call to this number is answered by an automated machine imitating the oft-heard "disconnected" message you normally hear on legitimately disconnected numbers.

From what I've read online, this seems to be a credit fraud/scam. Avoid at all cost.

I also would like to know how to report them and to whom.

It's yet another "reduce your credit card interest rate" scam.

a recorded call: "this is the second and last call concerning your credit card..."  "how to reduce your credit card interest rate".  "Press 1 to speak to a representative..."  I pressed 1.  Told the guy "I'm on the do not call registry, why did you call me?"  he said he must have felt like breaking the rules.  I told him not to call me and he said he is going to call me every day."  If I could have reached through the phone and strangled the little puke I would have.  It must take a very inadequate male to do this sort of crap.

This number 334-245-2345 called me about a credit card account, i don`t have a credit card, they hung up on me, when i tried to call the number back it tells me the number has been disconnected. This happens all the time and it needs to stop.

I got several calls from this number too.  I spoke to a rep and asked to be removed from the calling list and they hung up on me.

I received a call from this # (344-245-2345) WITH MY SON STATING, IN HIS OWN VOICE, HIS ***RECORDED NAME*** (IT WAS DEFINETLY HIS OWN VOICE - as his voice is very unique)

THE AUTOMATED OPERATOR THEN ASKED "IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO A LIVE REPRESENTATIVE, TO GO AHEAD AND PRESS A NUMBER? - THEN THEY STATED "YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THIS CALL AND THAT YOU CAN NOW HANG UP....CALLER, PLEASE STAY ON THE LINE" ? THE CALL IS THEN ENDED BY THEM!
I did a Reverse phone # lookup and it stated that this # originated from DALLAS, TX. as a LANDLINE #.
I've received MANY collect calls from my son in the past.....NONE have EVER BEEN HANDLED IN THIS MANNER....SO IT FELT LIKE A SCAM RIGHT AWAY!!! HANG UP IMMEDIATELY and REPORT THEM to YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT!!

Got the same message as above when I answered the call & waited on the line to talk to a rep. When I said I wanted to be removed from their calling list, he hung up on me -- just like that. SCAM CITY is all I can say! Don't get sucked in by these guys!
