Use the information wisely against the enemy.

I just save the number and give it a special name like "Shit1", "Shit2" and so on.  I have about 40 or more of them on my phone and just put the ringer for that group on quiet and no vibrate.  If they call when you are talking to someone and call waiting comes in with a S***# you know better than to answer it.  When you have unwanted callers, just give them names and block them or put ringer for that caller on quiet.  Some of the scammers biggest goal is to get you to answer and that tells them the times you are available for calls and then they sell that info to telemarketers.  Auto dialers just help them do bulk and makes them more money.  If someone calls you and you don't know the number calling,  don't answer it.  If they are a friend or a legit caller, they will leave a message.  Have a good day

Here is how to get rid of these "Credit Services" - waste their time: Prepare a phony Credit Card information and keep it handy (e.g., in your wallet). When those "credit services" call you, act dumb and give them this phony information. The only "complicated" part is getting the CC number (you can google for such numbers; don't use random, as the digits must pass some checksum check), and the CC customer phone number; all the rest can be completely bogus. Then let them waste some time, and when they return with "the number is not in the system" you can say "I just moved; here's my old ZIP code" and waste more time.  You may need to do this several times till they figure out it's better to remove your number from their system.

THey called me. I didn't answer. I've tried messing with them, saying I had $20k in outstanding credit and $30k in available credit at about 15% on 3 separate accounts, then putting them on hold for a few minutes while I got my card, then reading my card number really slowly and changing the numbers around in the last 4 digits, or with 2 digits to go said "oh hold on that's the wrong card", ect. The calls seemed to get more frequent the more i did this kinda stuff.Now the same number will call and immediately hang up a few times a day. Oh got them to hold while I went to "grab my card" once and got a noise maker i put right into the phone. I don't think they liked that either.

Keep getting calls from 334-283-7084.  When you are nice and ask them to please quit calling you they hang up really quick.  If you tell them that you are interested in their offer they hang up also.  I wish they would quit wasting their time and mine. I just put a call block on that number, but in the past they keeping changing their numbers. I plan on not answering any in the future.  They hurt the legit callers.

It must be a spam call - never leaves a message since I never answer it - calling back gives busy signal - I am on the do not call list - it doesn't work.  Why doesn't the NSA stop this and give us our taxes worth?

Hung up before went to voice mail.  I tried to call back and got "your number cannot be completed as dialed" auto-message.  I am already on do not call lists.  

I have been recieving this call for the past two weeks. So today I go through the steps by pressing 1 to get to an operator and its a credit consumer company asking me if I want to lower my credit card bills. I told this lady that I have asked many times before to be taken off this list. So she says, we havent even been at this number for long so you havent been getting calls from us then hangs up in my face.

Just received a call from 334-283-7084. Just like the others I receive on my iPhone 4, if it only rings four times, leaving no message, it's another one of those calls from whoever trying to sell me something and or Amazon believes I signed up years ago for whatever, whatever beings they can call me a countless amount of times never being able to place a stop to it. Rule of thumb for me; if I see a call from out of state that I don't know who it is, count for rings, no message, and it's one of them!

I got so fed up with these calls, I decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. When I answered, I acted as though i was interested and feed this guy false information, He sounded as though he had a foreign accent until I let him know i was just stringing him along so he could not call others. Once he knew i was not a potential customer and no will to give personal info, he lost his accent and started talking dirty. I mean really dirty. He was then trying to offend and anger me but I stayed calm which made him even more angry. On another call I was told to press 1 if talk to a rep so i do. I asked the lady politely to talke my number off the call list (which they never do but answering ties up their time) the woman called be a stupid bi*** and said I should not answ the phone and hung up.

Call ato cell from this # 1:04 p.m. 10/18/13  - Don't answer when I don't recognize #.  Caller id says "No Name" - caller always hangs up before call goes to voice mail.

Don't waste time complaining to FCC. These people are called 'phone hobbyists' - what the hell is a phone hobbyist - never heard of that hobby, have you? They use 'switch number'.  This should be illegal. Complain to your people in congress to pass a law making this 'hobby' illegal and the punishment harsh enough to stop it. They are identity thieves.

Same thing here, I did not answer when they called my cell. Called them back & number is fake. No doubt a telemarketer or other unwanted pest.
They are now marked on my phone on a long list of unwanted pests whose calls I do not answer.

This number has called me every day for the last month.

I never answer calls from strange numbers. If it's a legitimate call the caller will leave a message.

It's safe to call the number back to check, however, because scam artists don't accept incoming calls to the fake numbers they are using. (They don't want the police calling them.... I wonder why.)

Returing the call confirmed that the number shown on Caller ID was spoofed. I got a pre-recorded message: "Your call can not be completed as dialed."

Received a call at 9:27 am, ignored the call. Haven't these idiots heard of the internet?

Caller ID said Tallassee, AL - Did not answer, probably telemarketer...?
