Got a call with no message. Probably scammers. Reported to RCMP Phonebusters.

I wish to God there was a way to get all these scammers OUT of the picture.
From the comments here I can see that these idiots stumbled upon clever people, some who gave them an earful. Well done!
But I hate to think about (in particular) elderly people who aren't computer/web savvy who really get taken to the cleaners by so many of these a***oles.
PS -- I'm not implying that all older people aren't tech savvy. Sadly, people who are also new to this country, whose English isn't yet up to par also get taken for a lot of money.

I got a call telling me about my warranty expiring - $2400 for coverage until 2015. When I said I could not afford this he hung up in a real hurry.

Tip from Andy Rooney - press the # button on your phone repeatedly.  It confuses their automatic calling and your phone number gets bumped off the list.

I received a call at about 11:55 am PST as of today. There was no message left on my answering machine. My caller ID gave this number and said it was from Alabama.

I did what Wayne did.This is a real gas.And now I can hardly wait for the next call.

Just received a call from a man at 334-589-7052 who said he was warning me that my Honda warranty was expiring (it is not) and I should buy extended warranty. When I said I wanted to talk to my Honda dealer he hung up! Obviously a SCAM.

Recorded message about car warranties: "it's not too late"!

Decided to press 1 anyhow. It rang four times, and they asked for the year and model of my car. I said Mazda Wagon 1988, and they hung up!

HAAhahaha.
