I don't know who it was. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Obviously bogus, some boiler room telemarketer or scammer.

Just received a call from phone number 335-000-2254 about reducing my interest rates on my credit cards. It was a recorded message that said, "push 9 if you are interested", I did cause I found it interesting that I don't have a credit card with a balance and they are contacting me. When the guy came on the line I asked him who he was with and he said, "Your VISA, Mastercard or Discover" - OK - everyone is bound to have one of those - then I asked which bank and he said, "over 180 banks - are you interested in reducing your rate?" at this point I realized it was a fraud and said, "I don't think so" and he said, "then get off my damn phone".....point is BECAREFUL and NEVER give anyone ANY information over the phone. If it REALLY is your credit card contacting you they already know the information and they don't need to ask you for it! WHAT A FRAUD - need to report them to the FCC!

another illegal robo call. I wish the goverment would do more for us. Something about me having received a letter (did not) in the mail that my credit card rates were going up and they could help me with that.
They are getting a little more imaginative but they don't realize that we are intelligent consumers who are lucky enough to have this web site to educate us. We have knowledge in numbers. So take that scam artists.

Sick of spam calls. Told the live person if they want to talk to someone at this phone, caller ID will show who is calling. Hung up on her.

received credit card interest scam call today. advised I am on do not call and asked for number to be removed. phone number is not valid on reverse lookup. can not find area code 335 in phone book or reverse area code search. Another scam is a cell phone number from Montana leased from two companies ,one in LA and the other in Oregon.
Guy on phone said 335 was Florida but no listing I can find.

Got a call from 335-000-2254. By the time I got the phone to my ear, the message was already playing and I only heard ....credit card interest rates.... - talking about how my interest rates would be rising and if I wanted to check my interest rate on my credit card to press "9". I hung up. Then I looked at the number and noticed the strange number. I hang up on any "recorded message". If it was important, i would get a call from a person. That's the way I see it.

It is another scam. Would not verify what card company etc. Wanted to lower my interest rates. Told them I was on the do not call list. Gave me a bogus number (sex line) to call to have my number removed.
